I am not so much into MFs but started investing around 1.5 yrs back in the below funds.

Being a middle class person and having two kids (8 years and 2 years), I am planning to invest a bit more and have some decent amount after 10-15 years.

Please suggest one or two good MFs in which I can start investing. Also suggest any changes that I need to make in my present portfolio -- like increase, decrease or stop.

Parag Parikh Flexi Cap (G) Rs 1,500 per month
ICICI Pru Multicap (G) Rs 1,000 per month
DSP Ultra Short (G) Rs 1,000 per month

Ans: The above funds are fine presently. Additionally, you may look at:

Axis ESG Equity Fund -- Growth
Motilal Oswal Focused 25 Fund -- Growth

My doghter got admission in south asian uni versity in Btech cse plz tell is it good
Ans: South Asian University’s BTech CSE program is relatively new, with the first undergraduate batch admitted in 2024, so there is currently no placement record or established placement cell, though one is being developed for future batches. The faculty is highly qualified, with many holding PhDs from IITs, JNU, and international universities, and the curriculum is modern, covering foundational and advanced topics in computer science, AI, data science, and cybersecurity. Infrastructure is still under development, but Wi-Fi, labs, and hostel facilities are available, and the university is a central institution supported by SAARC nations, giving it a unique international environment. Student reviews rate the program 3.8/5, citing strong academics and supportive faculty, but note average mess food, limited medical facilities, and a lack of campus events as areas for improvement. Placement rates in postgrad programs are around 50–65%, but for BTech, outcomes will only be known after 2028.

The recommendation is to consider South Asian University BTech CSE if you prioritize strong faculty, international exposure, and a developing academic environment, but be aware of the lack of placement history and ongoing campus development; if job placements are a top priority, also explore more established CSE programs as alternatives. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Hi sir my brother have three options 1 iit bombay electrical and 2 iit hyderabad cse 3 iit Guwahati cse which one to choose??
Ans: Here’s a detailed comparison of IIT Bombay Electrical Engineering, IIT Hyderabad CSE, and IIT Guwahati CSE, focusing on placements, academics, faculty, and long-term prospects. IIT Bombay Electrical is widely recognized as the top electrical engineering program in India, with a robust curriculum, flexible electives, outstanding research opportunities, and a faculty known for innovation and industry collaboration. Its placement record is excellent, with 83–88% of electrical students placed and an average package of ?23.5 lakh, plus the IIT Bombay brand offers unmatched national and global recognition. IIT Hyderabad CSE is a premier program with a modern, research-driven curriculum, highly qualified faculty, and strong industry links. It consistently places over 76% of CSE students, with an average package around ?20 lakh and top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. IIT Guwahati CSE is also highly ranked nationally, with a 91% placement rate, the highest average package among the three (?39.91 lakh in 2024), and a vibrant campus life, though the location is less central for industry exposure. All three offer excellent faculty and research, but IIT Bombay’s electrical program is particularly renowned for its flexibility, research ecosystem, and legacy, while IIT Hyderabad and IIT Guwahati CSE are leaders in computer science, with strong placement outcomes and industry demand.

The recommendation is to choose IIT Hyderabad CSE or IIT Guwahati CSE if your brother’s primary interest is in computer science and tech careers, as both offer top-tier placements and industry opportunities, with IIT Guwahati having a slight edge in recent placement statistics; opt for IIT Bombay Electrical only if he is passionate about electrical engineering or values the IIT Bombay brand and flexibility for interdisciplinary or core engineering careers. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
