I sleep daily around 10.30 pm and it often happens that i suddenly awake around 3.30 and then could not sleep due to many thoughts on mind. Then i feel like sleeping whole next day Whats wrong

Hi Doctor My age is 39 years Struggling with sleep past 2 years feel sleepy then goes to bed then can't sleep even in i get sleep it's breaks after 1 hours during night though of taking sleeping pill

Ans: Sleeplessness is very common problem with the present day - adolescent, youth, Adults and Elders.
One common string which cause this across all age group is unhealthy pattern in food which means, wrong food at wrong timing and Sedantary activities.
Manage your diet rhythm-Eat a balanced meal on time. Early dinner before 7 pm make a lot of difference

Hello ma'am I am 38 years old working woman. My problem is I struggle to get ansound sleep at night even I get very tired after my office job and house work most of the days i sleep at 2 a.m or 3 a.m as I have this problem even sometimes i sleep at 4 a.m also and since I a ateacher i have to get up at 6 a.m in the morning. Ans: Sleep is routine which needs discipline in one's daily activities which needs a hygiene and rhythm.
Tiring to exhaustion in mind is not a way to get good sleep. Unwinding the mind help in sleeping better. Adequate physical activities,
Early dinner before 7 pm, no visual/mind stimulating activities after 8pm and unwinding from the days work by 8pm are some of the tips to have good sleep. Sleep is very important deprivation of sleep has long drawn consequences. Please consult your doctor for any organic causes for the same

Hello Doctor I can’t sleep through the night. Sometimes falling asleep is a problem, sometimes I’m up in the middle of the night and going back to sleep is a problem. Please advise me.

Ans: Too much of sensory overload through visuals, and late dinners are some of the causes for not falling asleep. Please pay attention to your dinner meal. Eat early before 7pm and avoid animal protein, and oily food at dinner meal
