We’ve talked a lot about how yoga is good for kids. Any other insights for parents who’re curious about kids yoga?

Ans: Yoga is a lifestyle and a tool that can help the young generation stay grounded and connected with their true inner self. It helps the young cope up with the constant pressure of fitting into the social media norms of body images, which otherwise often lead to eating disorders and depression. If practised regularly, it helps cope with peer and performance pressure. Padmasana helps improve digestion and strengthens the spine whereas Yashtikasana stretches the entire body and aids in increasing height and also helps in correcting the faulty posture of rounded or drooping shoulders. Pranayama, on the other hand, is both soothing for the mind and body and improves concentration.
