I feel a sudden 'click' or 'pop' in my knee when climbing stairs. It also happens when I get up after sitting for a long time. I hear a click or feel a popping sensation in my knee. There's no major pain, but it does feel uncomfortable and gets worse after long walks. What does this mean? I am 27

Ans: Hey,
A clicking or popping knee with discomfory, especially after sitting or walking, often points to early patellofemoral pain syndrome or muscle imbalances around the knee. It’s common at your age and usually linked to weak glutes or tight quads. Start gentle quad/glute strengthening, avoid deep squats, and stretch regularly. If it persists, see a physio to prevent long-term damage.

No pain at start but after walking for 100 meters right knee suffers extreme pain and go on increasing for next 300 to 400 meters but goes out slowly when walking continued. What is this?
Ans: Dear Mr. Dilip Kumar . Thank you for your query. It sounds like you are experiencing intermittent knee pain that worsens after walking about 100 meters, intensifies for the next few hundred meters, and then gradually subsides as you continue. Pain associated with walking in the knee can occur for various reasons, and without knowing your age and medical history, it's essential to consider a few common possibilities. It could be due to osteoarthritis, especially in older adults, where the wear and tear of knee joint cartilage causes pain that may decrease after warming up. Another possibility is patellar tendinitis, involving inflammation of the tendon connecting the kneecap to the shinbone, which causes pain during walking. Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS) might also be a factor, especially if the pain is on the outside of the knee. In some cases, pain that starts with walking and improves gradually could point to vascular issues, such as claudication, or a past meniscal injury or ligament strain affecting the knee's stability.

Given the variety of potential causes, it’s crucial to consult with a physiotherapist for a thorough assessment. They can perform a detailed physical examination, recommend appropriate imaging if necessary, and develop a targeted plan for managing the pain. This will help you address the root cause and ensure a quicker and safer recovery.

Hello sir I am 1st dropper in 2025 and I passed class 12 in 2024 and I got 89 present in 12th board exam but this year I am not clear to jee mains exam I got only 61 presentile so pls help me you suggest me I felt very bad such like I defeat in my life pls suggest me what can I do .Sir there's no one to guide me .Sir my goel was IIT but I couldn't cleared and I am not efford to pvt college fee pls sir suggest me
Ans: Scoring 61 percentile in JEE Mains after a strong 89% in your 12th boards is understandably disappointing, but it does not define your future. Many students face setbacks on the path to IIT but still build successful careers. Given your financial constraints and goal of IIT, consider these strategies: Focus on state-level or central government engineering colleges with good reputation and lower fees through counseling like JEE Main JoSAA or state CETs, which offer quality education without the private college cost burden. Meanwhile, enhance your conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills through free online resources (NPTEL, YouTube channels like Khan Academy, Unacademy) and join government or NGO-sponsored coaching programs if possible. If IIT remains your ambition, plan a structured, focused drop year with a clear schedule, referencing previous toppers’ methods and joining affordable or free classes. Alternatively, explore pivoting to strong domains related to IT, data science, or emerging tech fields in affordable colleges, securing internships early to improve prospects. Mental health is vital; seek support online, communicate with mentors, and remain resilient. Many success stories emerge from perseverance beyond initial failures.

Recommendation: Embrace affordable quality education via state/central institutes, utilize free resources, consider coaching options, and be persistent with a clear plan for next-year IIT attempt or alternate tech pathways. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!
