I am very fed up with my left ankle pain from last 4-5 months. I met to private Doctor of Ortho and also in AIIMS, Raipur (CG) in General Medicine but not cure.

Ans: Heel pain could be due to calcaneal spur, plantarfascitis, calf muscle trigger point or due to lumbosacral issues. Since your heel pain is for last 2 months it is advisable to go to either an orthopedic or physiotherapist.
They will guide you if any further investigation like an x-ray required and depending on the diagnosis the treatment may consist of Ultrasound therapy, calf muscle release, medications like NSAIDs.
Even through you have changed your footwear a tailor made footwear may be required as guided by the health professional.
Home remedy for heel pain is usually to dip your leg in warm water for 10 minutes followed by dipping it in cold water for 10 minutes. This can be done twice a day. It is better to do some calf stretches in the morning in the bed itself before putting your heel on the floor.
Feet are very important as they are the main weight bearing joints for the body hence it is necessary to be pain free in the feet area as any pain in the feet can affect the bio-mechanics of entire body.

Heel pain especially more in the morning can be due to plantarfascitis or a calf muscle trigger or in some cases due to some nerve impingement in the back area.
You can dip your legs for 10 minutes in warm water and then 10 minutes in normal tap water twice a day. Icing for 10 minutes 2-3 times a day on the heel also helps. Before sleeping do some calf stretches and you can roll your foot on a tennis ball for 1-2 minutes.
If this is not helping then please see a physiotherapist and they will accordingly evaluate and treat accordingly with Ultrasound, calf stretches, release of plantarfascia etc. as need be.

Have you done an x-ray of the heel? We need to rule out if you have a calcaneal spur at the heel.
If you have pain even after 3 months then please go to a physiotherapist. They need to diagnose the root cause. It could be due to a calcaneal spur for which they will recommend you the foot wear accordingly. It could be due to calf muscle trigger or the plantarfascia being tight. The physiotherapist will accordingly do myofascia release, Ultrasound, advice you icing, correct foot wear etc. and you should be fine.

X-rays usually show only the bone part. Her bones may be ok but there are some ligaments, muscles, tendons around that area which may be affected. It could also be she is probably weight bearing in a wrong way and putting more pressure on her right ankle part.
It would be good to show her to a physiotherapist. They will need to evaluate that area in details and also her walking/standing posture. Accordingly the diagnosis can be made.

Heel pain is usually due to plantar fasciitis, trigger points in the calf muscles referring pain to the heel or due to a calcaneal spur. It could also be due to your core muscles being weak and putting stress wrongly on the heels of your feet or due to wrong footwear.
Please see a physiotherapist once, they need to do a detailed evaluation to understand the diagnosis and accordingly advise the treatment.
To begin with you can soak your feet in a bucket of tap water for 10 minutes followed by soaking them in warm water with some salt in it for 10 minutes every night before sleeping. This usually relieves the pain a bit but you need to definitely understand the diagnosis of it by going to a physiotherapist,
