Good evening Dr.My age is 45 and having Diabetics for last 8 years.I am suffering from Diabetic foot ulcer and undergoing treatment for past 1 year. I underwent vascular vaccum therapy as well. My sugar lever is under control. Glycaemic index 5.5. Still wound is taking time to heal. I have numbness in both legs. Kindly suggest me qways to get rid of this problem. Also suggest ways to improve sensitivity in my legs.Nunbness issue is curable?

Ans: Hello Siva,
Have you consulted a good nutritionist and if yes, are you following it properly? What we eat makes a huge difference in diabetes, to heal wound and to reduce numbness in legs.
Are you doing some form of yoga? Some breathing exercises? Are you doing at least 30-45 minutes walks regularly?
All these above are very important for you so please let me know.

I am 65 years old. Have diabetes since 15Plus years. Now, I face the problem of foot irritation and numbness. Sugar level is fro 190 to 250. I need your advise on foot irritation and numbness.

Ans: You have likely developed diabetic neuropathy. You will need to control your sugars much better. In addition please check for any thyroid problems, vitamin deficiencies and rule out other conditions that can also cause neuropathy. Have your eyes checked as well. Check your urine for protein leakage as these conditions also go hand in hand with diabetic neuropathy. Please consult a physician either in person or online for further advice and appropriate treatment.

Hello Sir, I am 47 yr. old diabetic for last 6 years. I walk for 45 minutes and do exercise 50 - 60 minutes in the morning everyday. My fasting sugar 135 and pp is 174 last week. I took a medicine Glucoril M1 in morning only but my health is degraded gradually. I have also foot drop problem in my right leg from last year and numbness from the lower of right leg Knees. I had taken medicines for foot drop problem but I have no any benefit. Can you prescribe me some medicines for my foot drop problem and numbness? Thank You

Ans: There is no universal medicine for a foot drop. If the foot drop is on one side it is usually due to a damage to a nerve. There are several other causes also. The cause needs to be found out. You need to be evaluated by a neurologist

I am 63 years old male, diabetic under control through diet & exercises.My FB1AC varies between 7 to 7.5.I am having numbness in the sole of my both the feet.My blood flow below the knee is not so good as per Venus Doppler test.I also have some vericose veins in both the feet with some skin irritation similar to psoriasis occasionally itching.I easily get exhausted while walking.My B12 is also low.I am vegetarian .Are my feet nerves damaged & cause numbness? Therefore, individuals with diabetes should work closely with their healthcare providers or medical practitioners to keep their blood sugar levels within the target range. Follow a healthy dietary regimen including foods like whole grains, pulses, legumes, nuts, lean meat, eggs, etc. and avoid high carbohydrate, high fat foods like fast foods, sugary drinks, chocolates, cakes, fried foods, etc. Include a lot of high fiber foods like fruits and vegetables. Adopt a regular exercise schedule to include aerobic and strengthening exercises.

Sir, My father forced me to B-tech engineering degree. I completed my B-tech in chemical engineering in 2008 but our college didn't gave any placementin core chemical. I wanted to go for higher education like M-tech or MBA, but my father didn't make that happen. I gave many interviews from outside in pvt sector and not selected in the final interview. I also qualified in PSUs and same thing happened not qualified in the final selection process. In PSUs also they are wanting higher education. Recently I have done one internship in AI with project from Skillible and one internship in cyber security with project from Edunet foundation. I have 2 years of experience as a math expert in Chegg India. What will I do, please suggest. My father has completely ruined my life.

1. Further Education (If Feasible)
If higher education was a roadblock before but is now an option, consider pursuing an M.Tech (Chemical/AI/Cybersecurity) or an MBA (Operations, Data Analytics, or IT Management).
Distance learning programs from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and ISB could also be beneficial.
GATE 2025: If you're still interested in PSUs, qualifying GATE again with a high rank could give you opportunities.

2. Alternative Careers in Mathematics and Teaching
Since you have experience as a math expert at Chegg, you could look at:
Government teaching jobs (NET, SET exams).
Private coaching (IIT-JEE/NEET coaching institutes like FIITJEE, Aakash, etc.).
Online tutoring platforms (Vedantu, Unacademy, Byju’s, Cuemath, etc.).
Actuarial Science or Data Analytics, which involve heavy mathematical modeling.

These are few options. Many are available. Work hard.

Hey... Five years ago, I confessed my feeling to my crush. She declined my proposal politely and asked me to be friends. Like you mentioned, it is very normal for old friends to enquire about each other, especially if they have not been in touch for a long time. It might be the same in this case. The only way to tell for sure is to ask her. If you are interested in reconnecting, you can think about the same and ask her once you are back in talking terms. But I would recommend not assuming anything and getting your hopes up.

sir i had a doubt i passed class 12th with cbse board scoring 64 percent in total in 2024 and did not appear for jee mains, in 2025 i gave improvement exam but i am not sure if i will cross 75 criteria and also appeared in jee mains 2025 but i want a good govt college should i appear once again for 75 percent criteria with nios board and if i do will it be some problem in mains and adv??

I am 25 with 38 months of work experience. Can you let me know is it a good choice for pursuing MBA in IIMs at age 26. 10th 12th ug marks- 90/65/78

Ans: Try for a 2 year MBA course. Write the CAT exam. If you do not get into a good college this year then try for executive MBA course at the IIMs for which you need 5 years work ex and you would have to write the GMAT.
