Ans: 1) Your answer should not last more than 2-minutes.
2) Highlight your relevant education & job profile handled (if you have work experience).
3) Talk more about your current/previous experience that helped the organisation.
4) Whenever possible, explain in quantity/scale/frequency/numbers, as far as your Job Title is concerned.

5) MOST IMPORTANT: Please note, recruiters expect what you can do for benefits of the company. So, tell how you will be beneficial to the Company (instead of what you will gain from the company).

Ans: Ishita, Base on your JEE Score, NIT/IIIT CSE is unlikely. EEE/Electrical may be possible only in CSAB in lower-demand GFTIs or some northeast/newer institutes, not in strong NITs. Still, you must try. With a VITEEE rank of 19,000, VIT Vellore/Chennai CSE Category 1 is unlikely. Category 1 CSE/EEE is more realistic at VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal; Chennai CSE specialisation may need Category 2/3, and Vellore CSE will likely be a higher category. VIT’s official fee page confirms category-wise slabs. The best order can be VIT-AP/Bhopal CSE Cat-1 → VIT Chennai CSE specialisation if affordable → VIT Vellore ECE/EEE if available → CSAB GFTI/low NIT non-CSE → 2-3 more backups with reputed private colleges in and around your state. Ans: Prefer NIT Karnataka and IIIT Bangalore. Through BIT-SAT, he may secure admission to Mechanical/Chemical/Civil or MSc programs, while for pure placement outcomes and brand value, BITS Hyderabad is generally the best long-term choice among realistic options.

Ans: With a VITEEE rank of 4,954, your grandson has a strong chance of securing admission to VIT Vellore or Chennai for CSE or CSE specializations, likely within Category 1 or 2, depending on branch demand and counseling movement. With a JEE Main percentile of 89.6 and a CRL of 66,659, admission to NIT or IIIT CSE programs is unlikely, but he should still participate in JoSAA and CSAB counseling for lower-demand branches at NITs, GFTIs, and some newer IIIT non-CSE branches. The recommended preference order is: VIT Vellore CSE/specialization → VIT Chennai CSE/specialization → VIT Vellore IT/ECE → JoSAA/CSAB options → private college backups. Ans: Your son has a good chance of getting Civil and possible chances for Mechanical/Mechanical(EV) in Category 1 at VIT Vellore, but Electrical seems to be challenging.

Hello sir, I have 8788 rank in AEEE and home state quota in Amrita Coimbatore campus. I want cs specialization courses (AI&DS,CSE WITH AI, CSE WITH CYBER SECURITY) in coimbatore campus. At what slab is it possible for me to get this seat ? Thank you in advance

Ans: At AEEE rank 8788 with the Coimbatore home-state quota, CSE specialisations at Coimbatore are possible mainly in higher slabs, not safely in Slab 1/2. Amrita’s official CSAP 2026 handbook says allotment depends on AEEE/JEE rank, seat availability, campus–branch–slab preferences, and category/home-state rules. For Coimbatore CSE with AI / AI & DS / cybersecurity, your realistic target should be Slab 3 or Slab 4. Slab 2 is a small chance, and Slab 1 is unlikely at 8788. The best backup order can be Coimbatore ECE/EAC, then Amritapuri/Bengaluru CSE-AI/cybersecurity, then Chennai/Amaravati CSE-related branches. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!

Ans: Getting CSE in NITs is very difficult except possibly in CSAB special rounds at lower/newer institutes, but she has chances of getting core branches like Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Production in some lower NITs, IIITs, and state government engineering colleges.

PES RR CSE/ AIML is better than MSRIT and BMS in most aspects? Which should I prefer between CSE core and CSE AIML keeping the future in mind

Ans: Yes, PES University RR CSE/CSE(AIML) is generally considered better than M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology and BMS College of Engineering. Prefer CSE Core if you want maximum long-term flexibility; AIML is also excellent and nearly equivalent today.
