I am a student who has just passed 12th standard and looking for admission in private university for btech cse . I gave many entrance exams like viteee aeee met comed k siteee cucet and upes entrance test . I did not score that much in most of the exams to be able to secure a seat for btech cse because of high demand and limited seats . I have got a rank of 1,68,000 in viteee should I apply for counselling and select my first preference as vit bhopal cse during choice filling? I have got btech cse with data science in amrita vishwa vidyapeetham faridabad and ece in Bangalore campus . Got btech cse with ai ml in chandigarh university and upes as well but upes has a very high fee of about 30 lakhs for 4 years including hostel . Scored 60/180 in comed k . I also thought about manipal jaipur but that requires 70% in pcm for btech cse and 60% for other branches I also considered colleges of noida and greater noida like bennet university because some of my seniors are already studying over there but I got to know from them that the environment there is not that serious for academics and all and they mostly spend their time in other stuff so I thought not to consider that college further . I am a bit confused and tensed and need some genuine advice . Please tell me what should be my further course of action.

Ans: You can look at the colleges where you have secured admission for cse (domain you are interested in) and evaluate. You mentioned you got admission to Amrita, so can look at that option. Last option would be to do BSc in Computers or AI and pursue your career accordingly.

Hello sir, I'm a non maharashtrian and have a jee mains percentile of 67 and a MHT CET percentile of 88. which good colleges in Maharashtra can I get on this basis?
Ans: As a non-Maharashtrian with a JEE Main percentile of 67 and an MHT CET percentile of 88, you are not eligible for top government colleges like COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, or ICT Mumbai, as their cutoffs are much higher for both exams and state quota is prioritized. However, you can secure admission in reputable private engineering colleges in Maharashtra such as MIT World Peace University Pune, Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Akurdi, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Pune, G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur, and Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology Mumbai, where cutoffs for branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and sometimes IT are within your percentile range. For JEE Main, government colleges are unlikely, but many private colleges accept your score and offer a variety of branches.

The recommendation is to target private colleges such as MIT-WPU Pune, D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Akurdi, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, and Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune for branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or IT, as these are accessible at your percentile and offer good placement support and academic quality. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
