I am Mahalakshmi. I completed my B.Sc. (Hons.) in Horticulture in 2021. After that, I started preparing for banking exams, but I haven't been able to crack them yet. I feel unstable because I haven't established a career yet. I don't know which option would be wise to start my career. Can you suggest some ideas? Also, do you have any suggestions for internships or career paths in horticulture?

Ans: As you are well qualified, you can apply and pick a job in the field of agriculture, fertiliser marketing, and even working with a landscape architecture firm. The key is not to get disheartened, keep trying all your options with sincere efforts, prepare well for th einterview and present yourself as a confident person and you will find a good opening.

Hi sir, I m a person looking for opportunities. But I am stuck in my career. I m an MBA Graduate (Marketing & HR Specialization) from Hubli, Karnataka. I have passed out in 2015. I have worked as a Business Development Executive for a small firm and then I worked as HR Executive in Bangalore from 2016-2018 in Bangalore. I left the job to join family business in Hubli. But the business ran into too much of debts and we have it someone else. I have also worked with Bajaj Allianz Life insurance company as investment consultant (but it was commission based part time job). Now I m looking for a full career opportunities (Preferably in Banking sector). But I m confused as to how to go ahead with my career. As there gap in my career, I m unable to find jobs. While you do have a good amount of experience, it is neither continuous not long

If you are looking at opportunity in banking sector, though you dont have prior experience in it; I would recommend that you start with

A) Certifications like JAIIB, CAIIB (by IIBF), CFA, FRM, or NCFM OR Online Courses on platforms like Coursera, Udemy, or LinkedIn Learning to enhance your knowledge in banking and finance.

B) Entry-level positions or internships to gain experience and get your foot in the door

C) Understanding the Banking Sector in India, Different types of banks, RBI regulations and other financial regulatory bodies etc

My son has dropped for NEET last year and now scored 498 marks in NEET. He has also passed the BSC horticulture exam of Yashwant Singh Parmar university of Horticulture at Solan Himachal Pradesh and take admission in BSC Horticulture. But are the career’s option after BSC/Msc in Horticulture . In the mean time , he was also appeared in CUET exam for BSC Agriculture but result of CUET is still awaited. Kindly guide BSC horticulture or BSC agriculture , which is the best field for career’s growth . Also suggest some other better fields in PCB .

Ans: Hi Aakash. Choosing Horti over Agri is a bit difficult. Both have their merits and demerits. The final decision will depend upon the interest of the candidate. Further, you asked about some other options in PCB. Yes, there are a lot of options available. BDS, BPTH, Physiotherapy, etc. If your financial situation permits, you can opt for MBBS from abroad also. Many universities offer MBBS at a lesser fee. You can explore it very easily.

Ans: As only 1 subject is pending, try and clear that subject and get MBA degree. Simultaneously check what area you are interested in doing your career, do short term courses and look out for relevant jobs..

I’m not sure where you’re from, but according to the NIRF, the top colleges are located in Ooty, Mysuru, Manipal, and Mumbai. In most states, NEET eligibility is not required for admission, but state-level exams are necessary. Many deemed-to-be universities conduct their own entrance exams, so if you’re interested in joining one of these universities, you can reach out to them for further information.

Minimum qualification for admission to –(extracted from Pharmacy council of India.)

We are couple with 1 child. However, struggling with schools for my 11 year old who has autism, can talk and severe adhd. Schools are saying that they cannot enrol him yet due to behaviour and the fact that he wont listen to anyone and behave badly. He is smart in academics but likes to do things as he wishes creating issues. he struggles with peer communication and sitting in one place and will slouch and fall from the chair. Are there any options that we can look at. As his IQ is normal we feel he will struggle in a special school as well.

Ans: Dear Madam/Sir. Appreciate you reach out to improve core strength as many people do neglect core muscle strength. A strong core is essential for better posture, stability, and overall fitness. To strengthen your core, start with a plank, where you lift your body onto your forearms and toes, keeping your back straight and holding the position for 30-60 seconds. Next, try the bird-dog by getting on all fours, stretching one arm forward and the opposite leg backward, holding for a few seconds, and switching sides. The dead bug is another great exercise—lie on your back with arms and legs raised, then slowly lower one arm and the opposite leg before switching. For lower back and glute activation, perform glute bridges by lying on your back with knees bent, lifting your hips up, and lowering them slowly. Russian twists improve oblique strength; sit with bent knees, lean back slightly, and twist your torso side to side. Leg raises help target the lower abs—lie flat, lift both legs straight up, and lower them without touching the ground. Lastly, try the hollow body hold by lying on your back, lifting your shoulders and legs slightly off the ground, and holding the position while keeping your core engaged.
