I BELONGED to a Gujarati Family..My father had textile business...He don't want me to join that business and telling me to see it as a backup plan...Should I go for CA course?..I liked mathematics as a subject and numbers..I want to do something of my own..and If possible I want to settle in Gujarat only.

How is CA Course? Is it worthy in the upcoming future like 2030...I had heard that it has huge demand in the market..I need guidance and information about it..Which path I should go for CA or CS?

Ans: Prefer CS.

But before start preparing for the CA Exam, do a thorough research about the Course Curriculum | Preparation Strategies. Try to complete 'Inter' level in one attempt. Have Plan B also, if you are not able to complete 1st Group of 'Final' level in one or maximum 2-attempts.

CA is toughest among CS & ICWAI. All the BEST for Your Bright Future.

Hello Sir please guide me...I don't know what I have to do in my life..I am very confused and tensed about my career..I want to ask you which career path is best for me..I BELONGED to Gujarati family..I want to work in finance or IT or teaching sector only (I think so till now)..I liked mathematics as a subject...I want to settle in Gujarat if possible. And I want to choose that career in which I can do something of own like having own office or business (job is not compulsory).Till now I have concluded this much only about my future goal..Please help me which career is best for having this all opportunities..

(1) Qualification:- I am a student of class 12th preparing for jee ( I got 92% in 10th class gseb board and choose pcm as I don't have interest in biology and was unaware about commerce fields) (2) Liking :- Maths as a subject (3) Financial condition :- My parents are independent and father runs a textile business in Surat..

Ans: Thanks for providing some details about you.
You are in 12th, you like maths and preparing for JEE.
It is better to focus more on JEE. To crack it, one should be an expert in mathematics, As you are comfortable in maths, you might be comfortable in JEE syllabus.
Don't think much about your parents and his business at this stage.
Somehow, if you fail to crack the JEE, then take admission to any good pvt college with textile engineering or your liking branch. Complete the course and if possible go for PG also. After that, you decide what is best for you.

Ans: Yes, you can definitely start your own office or business in the IT sector with any IT-related degree. You don't necessarily need a professional degree like CS (Company Secretary) or CA (Chartered Accountant) to start your own IT business.

Ans: If you’re interested in technology and innovation, the IT sector is a great choice with immense potential. You can also pivot into entrepreneurship within the tech industry.
If you prefer finance, legal aspects, and corporate governance, a CA or CS qualification will give you a solid foundation for a successful career and the possibility of starting your own practice.
Third choice: You can start your business and then registrar for CA or CS based on your understanding on the need of your business

I HAD JUST GIVEN JEE ADVANCED 2024 AND I CAN GET GOOD BRANCHES IN IITS BUT I AM CONFUSED ABOUT WHETHER TO DO ENGINEERING OR NOT BECAUSE EVERYONE ARE SAYING THAT ENGINEERING IS DEAD STUFF LIKE THAT,,EVEN ENGINEERS USED TO BLAME ENGINEERING..DUE TO THIS ALL I AM AFRAID AND TENSED..I LIKED MATHS AND NUMBERS...ONE MORE PROBLEM IS THAT I BELONGED TO A GUJARATI FAMILY LIVING IN SURAT..EVERYONE IN MY FAMILYHOOD ARE IN BUSINESS..SO I THINK THAT IF I WILL SETTLE IN MY HOMETOWN THEN IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR ME MENTALLY AND FINANCIAL..SO SHOULD I CONSIDER CA COURSE AS I HAD HEARED THAT INDIA NEEDS CA...DUE TO THIS ALL I AM REALLY CONFUSE BETWEEN ENGINEERING AND CA...I WANT TO DO SOMETHING OF MY OWN..PLEASE HELP ME...

Keeping in view some important factors (which you have mentioned) like, (1) You are good in Maths & Numbers (2) Business Background of Your Family (3) Your Preference for Your Mental & Financial Satisfaction in Your Hometown, I suggest you to go for CA which will help you to be independent and also your family members.

However, please do a thorough RESEARCH about the CA Course such as, Course Curriculum / Subjects, Articleship Requirements, Preparation & Study Strategies, the Minimum of Hours you have to spend every day, the Coaching Centres you should join & other relevant factors that you think you should take into consideration.

My parents are telling me to go for computer science engineering as I am getting reputed colleges..According to them , I might learn other skills which are required If I will move out of hometown for studying otherwise If I will go for CA I will have to spent minimum 5 years studying only..Also I am not sure If I will start my firm after it or not..They are telling me that I will have choice even after engineering to move back to hometown or not..They don't want my money as they are independent people..If you ask me why I am considering CA , there are only 2 reason one is there are less CA and other there is chance of doing something of own and settling in my hometown So should I go for CA having these two reasons only???...Due to this all, I am really unable to decide about my career..please guide me
