Hello Sir, I served as an assistant professor for 2 years and also worked as a free lancer trainer for 2 years. Now I am full time technical trainer for almost 3 years. Teaching being my passion I am enjoying my journey. I am earning well too but I am not satisfied (Not because of money) but I want use my skills and passion for the underprivileged students and motivate them to gain the quality education and I genuinely want to make a difference in our society by providing affordable education to the youths. I am cleared with the vision and I have the expertise in the I.T training domain. So I want start my own Institute and offer the high end courses at affordable cost. I am not sure how it will work, Not sure whether it’s a right decision in terms of financial planning too. But I genuinely want to help people by using my skills for students not for corporate people. Please guide

Ans: Dear Shaikh,
I understand that you have a passion for teaching under privileged children. This is a very good thing to do.
I would suggest to continue with your current profession and use your spare time for teaching the under privileged children. You must take care of your financial securities as there would be no one to help you at times of financial crisis.

I am 21 yrs old I've done 3 long terms in Neet I've no degree I've idea to run a institute Iam willing to start my own coaching Institute did my age and experience restricts me?
Ans: Subramanyam,

The response is negative. Starting a NEET Coaching Centre is not contingent upon your age or experience.

Nevertheless, it is imperative to possess a significant amount of fortitude, and the following are some fundamental requirements that must be met prior to the establishment of a successful NEET coaching center:

1) To gain a comprehensive understanding of the NEET Exam, it is recommended that you review the Information Bulletin of NEET 2024. It is important to mention that the majority of parents and students are unaware of the process by which the merit list for NEET is generated and the corresponding rank is assigned. In addition, Coaching Centre does not disclose this information to parents and students even prior to the commencement of the course. 2) You will be required to conduct a market analysis and research on the demand for NEET coaching in the location where you intend to establish your center. 3) Be aware of the fee structure and the availability of Coaching Centres / Private Tutors in the area. 3) Your Business Plan for the Coaching Centre, including the objectives, target students, revenue models, growth strategies, salaries of faculty members, study materials, setup costs, ongoing monthly costs, and revenue models (e.g., will you provide varying packages for courses of varying levels?).
4) Infrastructure and location are additional critical factors to evaluate. It is recommended that you select a location that is in close proximity to residential areas or schools. Alternatively, you may establish a partnership with a school to provide NEET coaching. The students should have access to fundamental amenities at your coaching center. 5) License and Legal Compliance. In addition to Business/Tax Registration, it is advisable to comply with local regulations that govern the operation of coaching centers. This may necessitate adhering to specific regulations regarding safety, the number of students, and building codes.
6) In order to guarantee the quality of instruction, it is essential to design the finest curriculum materials/test papers and maintain a low student-to-faculty ratio at a coaching center. 7) The popularity of your center among the parents/students in your area will be further enhanced by the marketing and branding efforts of your center, which include the use of social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube) and referral programs. 8) The most critical aspect of operating a coaching center is the recruitment of qualified and experienced faculty. 9) Your coaching center should add value by incorporating teaching methodologies that include personalized attention, regular assessments, doubt clearing sessions, and motivational sessions for the students. 10) Additionally, student support and counseling should be ongoing.

MOST IMPORTANT: When marketing or advertising your coaching center, emphasize the 'BENEFITS' of joining it rather than the 'FEATURES'. Prospective customers are preoccupied with the BENEFITS they will derive from any product or service.

All the BEST for Your Prosperous Future.

Hello, I’m a teacher in Chennai, and over the years, I’ve built a solid reputation among my students and colleagues. However, despite the satisfaction I get from teaching, my current pay is not enough to meet my financial goals or to support my long-term plans. I’ve been considering transitioning into corporate training because I’ve heard that it can be more financially rewarding, but I’m not sure how to take this forward. I’m thinking of investing in online courses that specialise in corporate training, but I’m hesitant. I’m not sure if it’s worth the time, money, and effort, especially since I’ve already put a lot into my teaching career. How do I evaluate if making this switch is a good decision? Would my experience as a teacher actually help me in corporate training, or will I have to start from scratch? Should I look for a mentor in this field before making the leap? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Ans: Hi!!
It is so heartening to see this statement of yours," solid reputation among my students and colleagues". I feel that you need to build a solid foundation on all the set skills that you currently have. Not everyone can earn the respect of students ...especially in today's world. Consolidate on this... put in a psychology course/ degree and anything else that can solidify your existing skills!
People are ready to invest in their children, always remember this.....If financial goals is an issue, you can switch to a school where the salary is good, good teachers are in great demand. Collect a lot of testimonials from parents and students before you switch. Demand the salary that you deserve. For earning extra income you can start classes, one of my friends earns in crores just by lending extra help to students .As a teacher you know where the gap exists in our educational system, see if you can fill this gap, see what you can offer and make money.
I am investing a lot of time on this aspect of you because you said that you are actually good at it and that you enjoy doing it, not everyone can say this about their work. It is a matter of time you monetize what you love doing ....groom yourself well, look like a powerful person and demand the salary you think you deserve. Learn to invest your money well and let money work for you. Think of opening your own school.

I am a personal coach as well as a corporate trainer, it a crowded place here too, your experience as a teacher will definitely come in handy ,but you will require additional training for becoming a corporate trainer no doubt about it, it builds credibility if you do. It is hard work, it takes time, energy, certification and constant learning in order to be a sought after corporate trainer and demand that kind of money you are referring to. If you are a go getter, smart, well groomed, confident in your communication, you can bring about change in people just by your presence and you are good in planning your sessions well, then go for it...else, you said it, "I've already put a lot into my teaching career", consolidate on this!! Lots of schools are investing in training teachers as well as students, see if you do this, or you can come to me, we can have a chat together and then you can take the leap forward in whatever direction you feel like taking. Your decision has to be a well thought out decision!

Hope this helps...may wisdom be on your side..TC!
