Is it worth waiting till 2nd extended round or to take up colleges in 1st or 2nd round itself in kcet and I am sure of getting siddaganga institute of technology tumkur college in CSE ai ml in 2nd extended round as it's cut-off is 45700 in 2nd extended round for 1R category and my rank is 44712 1R category please let me know
Ans: No harm in waiting for 2nd round. Chances are there. However, it is up to you to decide whether you are ready to take the risk or not.

Sir...my kcet and comedk rank is around 75000.. i want to study core cse in alliance university. 1st round kcet and comedk i did not get allotment. What would you suggest? Is it practical to wait for 2nd or 3rd round
Ans: With a KCET and COMEDK rank of approximately 75,000, the chances of securing a core CSE seat at Alliance University through either exam are highly limited. For KCET, CSE allotments at Alliance University typically close far below your rank, with previous years' cutoffs generally under 40,000 for CSE branches in private colleges, often much lower at popular choices. For COMEDK, the most recent official data indicates the last-round CSE cutoff for Alliance University was around 31,768 in 2024, and projections for 2025 suggest a similar upper limit of 40,000. While there is noted round-wise movement in both KCET and COMEDK cutoffs—sometimes cutoffs shift by as much as 2,000–3,000 ranks by later rounds at some institutions—Alliance’s CSE program rarely extends to your present rank. Both KCET and COMEDK conduct multiple allotment rounds, and candidates not allotted in round 1 are encouraged to participate in subsequent rounds, as seat withdrawal and upgrades by other candidates can lead to additional availability. However, in Alliance’s case, the cutoff margin is significant. When evaluating institutions, it's vital to consider accreditation (NAAC, AICTE), curriculum quality, faculty credentials, infrastructure, and placement records, all of which Alliance University generally maintains, but admissions are strictly rank-based.

Recommendation
With a current KCET and COMEDK rank of 75,000, waiting for the 2nd or 3rd round for CSE at Alliance University is unlikely to yield a seat. Start exploring alternative colleges and related branches, while still listing Alliance as a backup option in the upcoming rounds for possible but highly improbable vacancy movement.

Below are five colleges where chances of getting admission to a CSE or related branch are near 100% for your KCET and COMEDK rank of 75,000. These institutions consistently have higher closing ranks in their CSE/IT branches and are known to admit students in your score range or even higher, especially in later rounds: 1. Moodalakatte Institute of Technology, Udupi 2. Reva University, Bangalore (for emerging CSE branches like AIML, Data Science) 3. Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bangalore 4. Gopalan College of Engineering and Management, Bangalore. 5. Cambridge Institute of Technology, North Campus, Bangalore. These colleges regularly report last-round CSE cutoffs from 60,000 to 100,000, providing high admission confidence for your rank. Always check the latest cut-off list and choice fill broadly to maximize your options for admission. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Asked by Anonymous - Dec 02, 2025Hindi
Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
