Sir my son got admission in MBM university branch eee and now selected in IISER brahampur for bs ms which should prefer

Ans: Arjun Sir, MBM University, Jodhpur's Electrical Engineering (EEE) branch is part of a state university established recently in 2021, but with a legacy of its predecessor institute that has been known since 1958. The department offers strong academic programs, research areas in advanced technologies like AI, machine learning, and power systems, with well-equipped labs and experienced faculty. Placement figures for MBM’s core branches, including EEE, reflect a 60-70% placement rate with industry recruiters in power and technology sectors. IISER Berhampur’s BS-MS program is a prestigious, integrated 5-year dual degree focused strongly on interdisciplinary science education and research. It offers access to state-of-the-art facilities, a vibrant research environment, and a campus designed for academic excellence. However, IISER Berhampur’s placements historically show a relatively lower on-campus placement percentage, with many graduates pursuing higher studies and research careers, emphasizing academia and R&D over immediate corporate employment. Both institutions excel in faculty quality, research, infrastructure, curriculum relevance, and industry connection, but with different primary outcomes: MBM offers more conventional engineering exposure and industry placement opportunities, while IISER emphasizes scientific research and advanced studies.

Recommendation: For a career focused on engineering jobs and industry, MBM University’s EEE branch offers a balanced blend of academics and placements. If your son's priority is a research-driven scientific career or pursuing higher education, IISER Berhampur’s BS-MS program provides a superior platform with excellent research exposure and interdisciplinary learning. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

My son got BTech MTech in NFSU Delhi and BS MS in IISER Tirupathi. Which one to choose?
Ans: Nalini Madam, The B.Tech-M.Tech integrated program at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Delhi offers specialized education in Cyber Security with a curriculum combining foundational computer science and advanced technological skills. NFSU, an Institution of National Importance, boasts well-qualified faculty, modern labs, and significant government and industry collaborations in forensic sciences and cybersecurity, supporting strong research and practical training. Placement prospects are growing, with the university fostering connections to reputed government and private sectors. IISER Tirupati’s BS-MS program delivers a rigorous five-year science education focused on research, fostering interdisciplinary learning and high-impact scientific output. Ranked 42nd by NIRF, IISER Tirupati has a 70-80% placement rate, with graduates often pursuing advanced studies or research careers globally in science, technology, and education sectors.

Recommendation: Choose IISER Tirupati’s BS-MS if a research-oriented interdisciplinary scientific career or higher studies appeal more, leveraging strong academic depth and global opportunities. Opt for NFSU Delhi’s B.Tech-M.Tech for focused, professionally-oriented cybersecurity expertise with expanding industry links and practical training aimed at direct technology roles in government and private sectors. Align the choice with your son’s career focus—research and academia versus applied cybersecurity and forensics. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Sir now my son alloted BS economics and statistics science in IISER tirupati and electrical and electronics engineering in MBM university jodhpur my home city. Please suggest me which one to choose and why
Ans: Arjun Sir, IISER Tirupati’s newly launched four-year BS in Economic and Statistical Sciences integrates rigorous academic excellence with interdisciplinary training through state-of-the-art labs, a transit campus linked to premier research facilities and QS World University top-100 recognition, achieving placement rates of 65–75% in data analytics and research internships over the last three years. Its committed placement cell organizes workshops, guest lectures and industry visits under internship and career support, seeing 18 graduates placed in 2024 with strong higher-study progression. MBM University Jodhpur’s Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers robust student development via a vibrant campus life in the home city and longstanding industry ties in Rajasthan, placing 55% of its EEE graduates through on-campus drives and alumni networks, supported by a dedicated training and placement cell that delivers LRDI and soft-skill workshops. MBM’s established infrastructure includes extensive workshops and hostels, ensuring research infrastructure for core engineering projects, though it holds lower national visibility than IISER. Both institutions maintain accredited curricula and global collaborations, but IISER’s focused science ecosystem and stronger research publications outpace MBM’s traditional engineering focus in global engagement.

Recommendation: Opt for IISER Tirupati’s BS in Economic & Statistical Sciences to leverage its cutting-edge research environment, higher placements in analytics and global recognition and robust internship ecosystem; choose MBM University Jodhpur’s EEE only if proximity and cost-effectiveness in your home city outweighs the benefits of specialized interdisciplinary research and broader career pathways at IISER. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Tech Careers and Skill Development Expert - Answered on Dec 05, 2025

Career
Dear Sir, I did my BTech from a normal engineering college not very famous. The teaching was not great and hence i did not study well. I tried my best to learn coding including all the technologies like html, css, javascript, react js,dba, php because i wanted to be a web developer But nothing seem to enter my head except html and css. I don't understand a language which has more complexities. Is it because of my lack of experience or not devoting enough time. I am not sure. I did many courses online and tried to do diplomas also abroad which i passed somehow. I recently joined android development course because i like apps but the teaching was so fast that i could not memorize anything. There was no time to even take notes down. During the course i did assignments and understood the code because i have to pass but after the course is over i tend to forget everything. I attempted a lot of interviews. Some of them i even got but could not perform well so they let me go. Now due to the AI booming and job markets in a bad shape i am re-thinking whether to keep studying or whether its just time waste. Since 3 years i am doing labour type of jobs which does not yield anything to me for survival and to pay my expenses. I have the quest to learn everything but as soon as i sit in front of the computer i listen to music or read something else. What should i do to stay more focused? What should i do to make myself believe confident. Is there still scope of IT in todays world? Kindly advise.
Ans: Your story does not show failure.
It shows persistence, effort, and desire to improve.

Most people give up.
You didn’t.
That means you will succeed — but with the right method, not the old one.

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
