My Son got 10328 rank in JEE Advanced and 23367 rank in JEE Mains. We have already provisionally admitted him to SNU Chennai for CSE IOT. Please advice on the following Branch Vs colleges : Is it advisable to take branches like Metallurgy, Biotechnology Bioinformatics,Mechanical, Chemical at New Gen IITs or go for CSE at IIITs or SNU Chennai Is IIT tag more important than branches like CSE and ECE at IIITs and Private Universities?

Ans: Prioritize the branch that aligns with his passion. A good branch can lead to a fulfilling career.
Remember that personal interests and long-term goals matter more than the college tag.
Encourage him to explore his interests and make an informed decision.

If your son is passionate about CSE and IoT, SNU Chennai with its specialized program could be an excellent choice.
IIITs: Known for their strong focus on information technology and computer science.

Hii I wanted to know should I take admission in LPU for Btech CSE or in Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology?? I'm also getting Dual Degree for btech+mtech cse in Maharaja Surajmal University? I'm really confused as CUET UG 2024 results are not out yet and clock is ticking really fast.

Ans: Sanchali, have you checked the Answer Key of CUET and your expected Score? If you know, check the chances of getting the colleges / streams based on your Score (the idea of which you can get the from the last year's CUET's Cut-off marks from Google) If you are convinced that you will definitely get admission (10% +/- Cut-off) into any 4-5 colleges / streams you prefer, go for CUET. I got 816 CRL rank other state . Will i get JU mechanical or chemical? And also i have doubt that if get JU MECH then it's good. Otherwise i have an option which is NIAMT formerly NIFFT RANCHI Mechanical, then should i go to NIAMT. Or should i take JU lower branches?
