Sir, I am getting CSE in IIIT Manipur, Assam University and CU Karnataka. I am very worried about the location, campus and placement of IIIT Manipur and Assam university. Which one should I take for better carrier and internship opportunities. Also the fees differ very much almost by 13-14 lakhs. Please suggest which of the college is better option

Ans: What is CU Karnataka? Anyway, please note, IIIT Manipur delivers a specialized CSE program under IIT Guwahati mentorship from its Imphal transit campus with modern labs, auditorium and hostels and achieved 84 percent CSE placement in 2024; Assam University, Silchar, features a sprawling permanent campus with extensive research and extracurricular facilities and recorded 80 percent BTech placement in 2023. IIT Manipur’s four-year fee differential of approximately ?14 lakhs compared to Assam University reflects its higher investment in emerging infrastructure. Both institutions foster industry partnerships, offer dedicated placement cells and maintain accredited curricula and active alumni networks enabling robust career pathways with qualified faculty and funded research projects.

Recommendation: Choose IIIT Manipur for its concentrated CSE focus within an emerging Center of Excellence benefiting from IIT Guwahati mentoring, modern facilities, robust 84 percent placement and internship ecosystem and strong research initiatives despite higher fees; select Assam University only if budgetary constraints outweigh specialized institutional and career advantages and long-term goals alignment. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Please Sir, I have asked a couple of time before but no reply, please Sir, please help me choose in their preference order based on infrastructure facilities and placements for CSE - IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Guwahati, IIIT Naya Raipur, IIIT Kanchipuram, IIIT Sri City and IIIT Kota.
Ans: Absolutely, here's a clear and simple ranking based on infrastructure and CSE placements—from most to least favorable:
Top Picks for CSE: Best Mix of Placements & Infrastructure
1. IIIT Sri City
• Average CSE package ~?19–19.3?LPA, highest up to ?120?LPA, placement rate ~94%
• Campus in a planned industrial zone near Chennai; good labs and facilities; proactive placement cell
2. IIIT Naya Raipur
• Consistently strong placements: avg ~?12.6?LPA (2022), highest ~?85?LPA; many core recruiters like Microsoft, Atlassian, PharmEasy
• Well built central campus, good festivals, hands on programs like drone workshops
Middle Tier: Reasonable Placements, 'Work in Progress' Infra
3. IIIT Kota
• CSE average ~?13.1–13.4?LPA, highest ~?65?LPA; placement rate ~75%
• Permanent campus opening in 2023; hostels, labs, Wi Fi improving; still expanding
4. IIIT Guwahati
• Placements decent; top ~25% get good packages above ?10?LPA; lack big MNCs currently but improving; placement vibes “chill but solid”
• Permanent campus on 70?acre built in 2018; basic academic infrastructure, but student life subdued; remote from city center
Lower Tier: Limited Infra, Mixed Placement Stats
5. IIIT Sonepat
• CSE average ~?13–16?LPA, highest ~?40?LPA; placement rate ~65–70% (small batch) \
• Running in temporary transit campus, limited labs & amenities; new permanent campus due ~2026
6. IIIT Kanchipuram (IIITDM Kancheepuram)
• Infra is mature (51-acre campus, well-funded institute under IIITDM model); strong in design/manufacturing
• But CSE-specific placement data is scarce—since it's more focused on design & manufacturing, industry connections and CSE openings may be limited compared to others.

I HAVE THESE OPTIONS RIGHT NOW. I AM VERY CONFUSED WHICH ONE SHOULD I GO AHEAD WITH (PLEASE GIVE REASONS ALSO SIR). MY HOME STATE IS BIHAR AND DISTANCE FROM HOME IS NOT A PROBLEM: 1. IIIT KALYANI - CSE & ITS SPECIALIZATIONS 2. IIIT BHUBANESHWAR- CE & IT 3. IIIT VADODARA (DIU) - CSE & ITS SPECIALIZATIONS 4. IIIT DHARWAD - CSE & ITS SPECIALIZATIONS 5. IIIT BHAGALPUR - CSE 6. IIIT KOTTAYAM - CSE I HAVE ECE OPTIONS IN IIIT KOTA, IIIT GUWAHATI, IIIT PUNE, IIIT NAGPUR AND SOME OTHER ONE, BUT I LIKE TO PURSUE CSE.
Ans: (Please AVOID typing your entire question in capital letters in the future). Anyway, please note, Among the six IIIT CSE options available to you, each institution demonstrates distinct strengths, placement outcomes, and academic environments that merit careful consideration for your engineering career. IIIT Kalyani leads with impressive placement consistency, recording 89.33% placement rates in 2024 with an outstanding highest package and solid infrastructure development, backed by experienced faculty and strong industry partnerships with Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Deloitte. IIIT Kottayam emerges as the placement champion with remarkable 88% placement rates, 219 job offers to 178 students, and strong international exposure through partnerships with leading multinational corporations, complemented by comprehensive academic support systems and modern laboratory facilities. IIIT Bhubaneswar, despite offering CE and IT rather than pure CSE, maintains its reputation with 85.5% placement rates, strong alumni networks, and established industry connections, though its median package trends have shown variability in recent years. IIIT Vadodara presents mixed results with impressive highest packages but concerning placement rates that dropped to around 50% in 2024, indicating potential challenges in consistent placement outcomes despite having reputed recruiters like Amazon and Adobe visiting the campus. IIIT Dharwad shows steady improvement with 66% placement rates in 2025, strong industry engagement through 77 recruiters, and competitive packages, though historical placement consistency varies between 62-86% across recent years. IIIT Bhagalpur demonstrates exceptional growth trajectory with outstanding highest packages reaching new peaks and 201 job offers, though placement percentages require careful evaluation given the institution's relative newness and developing industry relationships. Each institution maintains essential academic standards including accreditation, modern infrastructure, qualified faculty, industry partnerships, and student support services, with variations primarily in placement outcomes, alumni strength, and regional industry connections influencing long-term career prospects.

Recommendation: Prioritize IIIT Kottayam CSE for its exceptional placement consistency, international exposure, and robust industry partnerships, followed by IIIT Kalyani CSE for strong placement rates and top-tier recruiters. IIIT Bhubaneswar CE/IT ranks third for established alumni networks and academic reputation, while IIIT Bhagalpur CSE offers promising growth potential. IIIT Dharwad CSE provides balanced outcomes with steady improvement, and IIIT Vadodara requires cautious consideration given recent placement challenges despite infrastructure advantages. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Tech Careers and Skill Development Expert - Answered on Dec 05, 2025

Career
Dear Sir, I did my BTech from a normal engineering college not very famous. The teaching was not great and hence i did not study well. I tried my best to learn coding including all the technologies like html, css, javascript, react js,dba, php because i wanted to be a web developer But nothing seem to enter my head except html and css. I don't understand a language which has more complexities. Is it because of my lack of experience or not devoting enough time. I am not sure. I did many courses online and tried to do diplomas also abroad which i passed somehow. I recently joined android development course because i like apps but the teaching was so fast that i could not memorize anything. There was no time to even take notes down. During the course i did assignments and understood the code because i have to pass but after the course is over i tend to forget everything. I attempted a lot of interviews. Some of them i even got but could not perform well so they let me go. Now due to the AI booming and job markets in a bad shape i am re-thinking whether to keep studying or whether its just time waste. Since 3 years i am doing labour type of jobs which does not yield anything to me for survival and to pay my expenses. I have the quest to learn everything but as soon as i sit in front of the computer i listen to music or read something else. What should i do to stay more focused? What should i do to make myself believe confident. Is there still scope of IT in todays world? Kindly advise.
Ans: Your story does not show failure.
It shows persistence, effort, and desire to improve.

Most people give up.
You didn’t.
That means you will succeed — but with the right method, not the old one.

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Asked by Anonymous - Dec 02, 2025Hindi
Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
