Sir, I gave cbse boards in 2024 and passed in all. Then gave improvement as a private candidate in Feb 2025 but I got RT in physics. Now while filling for compartment for feb 2026 to clear that the system is showing no record found again and again. I really need to increase my marks slightly. Am I not eligible to fill that or it is any system issue because I faced same issue in July 2025 while filling but eventually it showed me all subjects option to choose any one and I chose chemistry. Please help me sir !!!!

Ans: As an OMS candidate, getting top government colleges like COEP, VJTI, or ICT in CSE/AI is unlikely. However, K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering is a realistic and strong possibility if the cutoff remains similar. Do not withdraw your MUJ admission until you have actually received and confirmed your admission through Maharashtra CAP. Treat MUJ as your secure backup while participating in counselling.

Ans: Hope the score mentioned is from JEE (Main), as it is the only one considered for CAP admissions, not your MHT-CET score. OMS candidates compete for All India seats based on JEE Main scores. You can target government colleges for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and other lower-demand branches. For CSE/IT/ECE, good private colleges are an option. It is not possible for us to provide a probable college list at this moment. But you can surely get admission to a decent private college. Just decide the city and choose the preferred colleges with preferred branches.

Ans: No, there is generally no problem in JoSAA counselling if you register with NIOS after passing CBSE, provided you meet the eligibility rules. If you want to use your NIOS marks instead, they must be valid, declared in time, and accepted as your qualifying examination. Your documents must also be consistent.
