Patrick Dsouza is the founder of Patrick100.
Along with his wife, Rochelle, he trains students for competitive management entrance exams such as the Common Admission Test, the Xavier Aptitude Test, Common Management Admission Test and the Common Entrance Test.

Patrick has scored in the 100 percentile six times in CAT. He achieved the first rank in XAT twice, in CET thrice and once in the Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test.

Ans: Product Design is a good career option if done from a good college. Check out the placements in whichever college your daughter plans to take admission in.

My daughter is in 12th and she wants to pursue design as her career not the fashion and interior one but on the IT side. Does this career option have a good career prospects. What are the good colleges where she can do her bachelor degree from which has good placements.

Iit varanasi electrical or iit kharagpur mechanical

Ans: Hello Mini
Both branches are different in terms of opportunities and the nature of work. Your interest matters. For a peaceful life in the future, it would be better to go with an Electrical branch. But considering the NIRF ranking, Kharagpur holds a better position than Varanasi. But considering the interest, your choice will be final. Else, considering ranking and other criteria, go with Mech @ Kharagpur without thinking much more.

I want to be a game developer or game designer in foreign. Which path to choose 1. Doing cse in my city with low fees and study side courses like ai and ds online and do mba 2.writing ielts and apply for bachelors abroad and complete computer science 3.write ielts apply for BBA in abroad and learn coding online. My dream is to do MBA in prestigious university in foreign . And build a gaming platform. Suggest me the best way to do in bachelors and masters

Ans: The options you are looking for are two quite opposite areas. Doing MBA and being a game developer / game designer do not go hand in hand. If you want to be a game developer it would be ideal if you do your graduation in technical areas either in India or abroad. As you are looking work abroad can look for opportunities do do graduation there.

Ans: Take part in inter college events like hackathon that could help develop your skills in IT. Do courses in Data, AI, ML beyond what is taught in college. Also develop your personality by getting involved in extra curricular activities in college.

Ans: Both colleges are good. If you are looking for management as career then narsee monjee would be better option. If CA or accounts then KC.

Dear experts, I am a 2019 B.tech ECE graduate and have over 3 years of experience in market research and consulting where I mostly worked with market sizing, competitive intelligence, report writing, and custom research queries. In September 2024, I quit my job to pursue a Minor in AI course from one of the IITs which is expected to complete by August 2025. After the course, what positions can I apply to since I want to pivot to AI/ML career. Am I too late at the age of 29 to pivot to this domain? Kindly, help.

Ans: If you college is providing you with placements then great, else you could start applying to different companies. Can contact your previous batch students to find out which companies accept students with that course.

Ans: Based on where you want to build your career. If you are not sure, try for both and wherever you get a better college can take it up. There is a lot of overlap in the entrance exams CAT / GMAT
