hi sir, my daughter has just got her 10th std results of 67 percent and is very upset.what are her chances of getting into a good reputed girls college in mumbai.what are her career chances in commerce.she want to persue a career in teaching line but is insistent in going for commerce.your advice please

Ans: She can go for commerce or arts. Thorough both she can have good career as teacher. There is huge demand for good teachers. She should analyse as to why she didn't score well in 10th. Possibility that she didn't like science and/or maths. It is ok, every student has their own strengths & weaknesses. Also she can decide upon being College teacher by clearing applicable exams after graduation or if interested she can start her own classes in future or join reputed coaching institutes.

Hello Sir, My daughter has secured 94% in her cbse boards, with a total of 281 in pcm, shes secured 85 percentile in mains, 12000 rank in comedk and 18440 rank in kcet, she’s even applied for counselling in Tamil Nadu. As of now she’s got admission in VIT vellore for cs core under category5. Kindly advice what is her possibility of getting cs in a good college from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu or should it be better to take cs from VIT vellore?

Ans: Please prefer trying through COMEDK & KCET if your daughter gets Tier 2 Colleges. Shortlist around 10 colleges of Bengaluru, based on Opening & Closing Ranks of last year in COMEDK & KCET. Have TN Counselling as 2nd option as admission is purely based on 10+2 Score which only TN State Board Students have advantage and who have scored above 97% in TN Board for Top-ranked College. If your daughter is getting Category 5, ignore it. Target only through COMEDK & KCET. All The Best for Your Daughter.

Ans: He has a very low chance of getting NIT Surathkal EEE. He may get EEE at NITs at North East states

I got 92.79 percentile In jee mains 2025 first attempt under SC category . Can I get CSE or IT branch in any NITs ?

Ans: Based on previous years' trends, you have a fair chance of getting CSE or IT in some of the lower NITs or newer NITs. See previous years' cut off

Ans: CSE Possibilities in NITs
NIT Agartala – High chance for CSE in later rounds.
NIT Mizoram, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Nagaland, NIT Sikkim – High chance for CSE.
NIT Silchar – Possible for CSE in later rounds (since it's your home state NIT).

ECE Possibilities in NITs
NIT Silchar – High chance for ECE due to Home State Quota.
NIT Jalandhar, NIT Raipur, NIT Patna, NIT Hamirpur – Possible for ECE.
NIT Durgapur (Home State) – Medium chance for ECE, but depends on final cutoffs.

Ans: NIT Silchar (Home State Quota) – Easily possible.
NIT Rourkela – Likely in 5th or 6th round of JoSAA counseling.
