The Company may solely choose to relieve your services by giving 90 days’ notice or basic salary in lieu of notice. sir, the above line is written in the appointment letter and the company has terminated the employee without giving any notice. they locked his lap top access and emailed him very next day email to intimate his termination on his official mail id(email regarding termination 1) which is already locked the previous day.when the employee wrote to his line manager after a week regarding the lock of laptop access , the line manager intimated about the termination . what is the option the employee has in this case

Ans: Dear

There are two options.

1. Consult a lawyer and seek legal opinion. However proceeding further with legal options has its own implications in terms of time, energy and money. This you have to weigh in very carefully, because you would be fighting your case as solo while company has all the resources at its disposal.

2. Just move on. I know this will hurt your ego, but better to bite the bullet.

All the best.

Hi sir I could not serve my 3 months notice period however I had served 2 months and asked HR to give me early reliving. I mentioned that my parents are not well and attached medical prescription but they denied and said you to serve complete 3 months. After 2 months I stopped going to office they were sending me absconding mails meanwhile and after 1month they sent me termination letter what shall I do In such case ? I was working there for 2 years.
Ans: I’m sorry to hear about your situation. When facing termination due to not serving the full notice period, it’s important to understand your rights and the potential legal implications. Here’s what you can consider doing:

Review Your Employment Contract: Check the terms regarding the notice period and termination. There might be provisions for situations like medical emergencies.
Legal Consultation: It may be beneficial to consult with a labor law attorney who can provide advice based on the specifics of your case and the applicable laws.
Documentation: Gather all relevant documentation, including the medical prescriptions you submitted, any communication from HR, and the termination letter.
Negotiation: You could attempt to negotiate with your employer, explaining the situation with your parents and seeking a compassionate resolution.
Labor Office: If negotiation fails, you may approach the local labor office or labor court for guidance and to explore options for redressal.
Understand Legal Precedents: Familiarize yourself with any legal precedents that may apply to your case. For instance, the Supreme Court has provided judgments on employment notice periods that might offer insights into your rights and obligations.
Remember, each situation is unique, and the best course of action depends on the specifics of your employment contract and the company’s policies. It’s crucial to handle the matter professionally and legally to ensure the best possible outcome. Good luck!

Sir, my son might get ECE in Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering ( Under Mumbai University), Navi Mumbai, ECE in Technology of Engineering and Technology ( Under Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University), Navi Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and CSE ( AI and ML) or ECE in RAIT, Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology ( DY Patil Deemed University,Navi Mumbai). Which should be opt for and why? Please help us in this matter. We had asked this many times.
Ans: Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering (Mumbai University) ECE is NBA-accredited and NAAC A-grade with PhD faculty, modern DSP, IoT, telecom and VLSI labs, and achieved a 95% placement rate in 2023 through recruiters such as Infosys, IBM, Jio and Cognizant. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University’s DET ECE holds NAAC A+ accreditation on a serene 5-acre campus, leverages teleconferencing classrooms and cutting-edge communication/embedded labs, and maintains an 85–90% placement record via partnerships with Amazon, Accenture, Musigma and Bosch. Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology’s CSE (AI & ML) under DY Patil University is NAAC A++-accredited, features dedicated AI/ML and data-science labs integrated with six-month paid internships, and records around 65% placements through major IT recruiters like TCS, L&T Infotech and Accenture. Its ECE program offers NBA-accredited VLSI, embedded and telecom facilities on a verdant 72-acre campus, achieving a consistent 75–80% placement rate.

Recommendation: For the highest placement consistency and established university affiliation, choose BVCOE ECE. If you prefer a Deemed University setting with strong digital pedagogy and robust 85–90% placements, opt for DET ECE. For a specialized software and AI trajectory—with an integrated internship model and cutting-edge labs—consider RAIT CSE (AI & ML). If core electronics and VLSI are your priority, the RAIT ECE program delivers focused infrastructure and steady 75–80% placements. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Sir, which is a better option CSE Thapar or CSE UITE Chandigarh?
Ans: Vikas Thapar University’s CSE department is renowned for its contemporary, industry-aligned curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities, and strong research orientation, consistently producing graduates who excel in both core computing and emerging areas like AI, cybersecurity, and data science. The department’s programs are benchmarked with ACM/IEEE standards, and students benefit from project-based learning, innovation modules, and deep industry collaborations, including MOUs with Infosys and IBM. Thapar’s placement record is exceptional, with 83–96% CSE placements, an average package of ?11.9 LPA, and top recruiters like Amazon, Deloitte, and IBM. UIET Chandigarh, established under Panjab University, offers robust CSE education with well-qualified faculty, modern labs, and strong industry linkages (Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon). UIET’s CSE placement rate is 80–85%, with top packages up to ?15 LPA and a strong focus on practical training, internships, and research projects. Both institutes provide global exposure through MOUs and exchange programs, but Thapar leads in research output, innovation, and recruiter diversity.

Recommendation:
Choose Thapar CSE for its superior placement rates, higher average packages, cutting-edge curriculum, and stronger industry and research connections. UIET Chandigarh is a solid alternative, but Thapar offers broader opportunities, a more innovative environment, and consistently better career outcomes for CSE graduates. , All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
