Go for UIET Mech only if he has a strong interest in mechanical core work or wants to prepare for PSU exams related to that branch.

Ans: If your son is clear about building a career in cutting-edge tech like AI, data science, or ML, then CSE with AI & ML gives him a head start and industry demand is strong.
However, core CSE is safer if he wants flexibility—it covers all fundamentals and allows him to specialize later through projects, electives, or a master’s degree.
If he’s unsure right now, core CSE keeps more options open for the next 4 years.
