My son is in 9th grade and average in studies. I would like to understand from you if there are any psychological tests available by which I can understand his IQ pattern to decide further course after 10th grade.

Ans: Hello Mr Kunal!!
It is good to see a parent so aware about their child's capability and wanting the best for him. Congratulations on that!!

Well, to answer your question...... you can google 'career guidance after 10th', there will be a host of companies offering an aptitude test to gauge your son's capabilities. Based on the test they'll suggest a future path on choosing a career and on further education. You can choose one of them based on the reviews and talking to them over phone.

Use a combination of-
1. your son's views on what he wants to do,
2. your gut feeling as a parent and
3. the outcome of the aptitude test to arrive at a final decision.
A single personality test can't decide the future of your child. Make an informed decision, you can involve his teachers who know him well too,

All the best in choosing the best for your son!!
