Hi, I'm Vineet! I'm a pcb student and gonna give isolated maths in Feb 2025. Am I eligible to apply for IAT and later on to take admission in IISc Bangalore and IISER's??

Ans: For the IAT (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test), there are no "compulsory" subjects in the sense that you must take all of them; however, you must have studied at least three subjects out of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics in your Class XII to be eligible to take the exam, meaning you can choose to take only three of these four subjects depending on your stream. You are totally eligible for appearing in IAT and can take admission in IISc Bangalore. About IISER you are advised to do required research in internet. Best of luck. Ans: Hi Bhoomi. You are technically eligible to appear for the JEE Mains with the combination of PCB and Mathematics as an optional subject in Class 12. Based on your JEE score, you can be admitted to IIIT's

will i be eligible for jee advanced and IITs after clearing the exam.if i have qualified 12 with pcb stream in 2024 and added maths through CBSE private in 2025 and qualified the cutoff for jee advanced in the same year

Ans: The eligibility for JEE Advanced and IIT admissions depends on specific criteria set by the Joint Admission Board (JAB). For IIT admissions, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in their Class 12 or equivalent exam. If you added Mathematics as a private candidate through CBSE in 2025, your eligibility depends on whether JAB recognizes CBSE Private as an equivalent qualification. If you clear JEE Main and meet the JEE Advanced cutoff in 2025, you qualify for JEE Advanced. However, for IIT admissions, the final decision will be based on whether CBSE Private Mathematics (2025) is accepted as a valid qualification. if i give my first attempt of iit in doing my class 12th in pcb and then in the next i give exam for mathmatics in class 12 ? is i am applicable for iit next year

Ans: No, in my opinion, you will not be eligible for IIT admission (JEE Advanced) if you initially appear for Class 12 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and then take Mathematics separately in the next year.

Hello sir, Recently we sell the property and right now 40 lakhs cash in hand. I am planning to put it in FD for monthly income. Right now I don't have any loans or any liabilities. Infact nearly 50k I am investing monthly in mutual funds. Already 10 lakhs FD in wife savings account and more than 20 lakhs KVP in post office on my children name. I am actually planning for passive income apart from my salary. With this income I am planning to roam around the india twice in a year with family. Without tax deduction or TDS how to segregate this 40 lakh for passive income. Getting a monthly salary more than a lakh. But I don't want to use my salary money for any enjoyments, it is for only MF investments, domestic expenses and future savings. Kindly guide me please.

Ans: Your query is subject to many factors like your risk appetite, how you are planning your trips etc. Usually for such kind of goals (wherein fund is required after 6-8 months), people invest in liquid mutual fund. On redemption TDS will not be deducted but tax will be applicable.

OBC-NCL certificate is valid only in the state where it is issued. You can't use whatever the way you want.
If you want, then you need apply for fresh certificate from Maharashtra.
