तो उदाहरण के लिए यदि आपकी आय 50 लाख है, तो कर देनदारी 13,12,500 रुपये और उपकर और कोई अधिभार नहीं होगा। अगर आय 51 लाख है तो टैक्स देनदारी 13,42,500 रुपये और सरचार्ज 1,34,250 यानी कुल 14,76,250 रुपये और सेस होगा। हालाँकि, आप 64,250 रुपये की सीमांत राहत के पात्र होंगे (अतिरिक्त आय 100000 रुपये और अतिरिक्त कर 164250 है)। तो सरचार्ज घटकर 70000 रुपये हो जाएगा.
