वित्त वर्ष 23-24 के लिए, फॉर्म 16 के अनुसार वेतन से मेरी आय 7,02,876 रुपये है। मुझे 9,120 रुपये की ब्याज आय भी है। मैंने म्यूचुअल फंड भी बेचे और 87,983 रुपये का दीर्घकालिक पूंजीगत लाभ हुआ। मैं जानना चाहता हूं कि मेरी कुल आय और कर की गणना कैसे की जाएगी। मुझे लगा कि मेरे वेतन और ब्याज आय को अलग-अलग माना जाएगा और नई कर व्यवस्था के तहत कर के लिए पात्र नहीं होंगे और मेरे दीर्घकालिक पूंजीगत लाभ को छूट दी जाएगी क्योंकि यह 1 लाख से कम है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप शून्य आयकर होगा। क्या यह सही है या नहीं?

Ans: यह मानते हुए कि म्यूचुअल फंड रिडीम इक्विटी आधारित स्कीम है, उक्त रिडीम पर टैक्स शून्य होगा। वेतन और ब्याज पर टैक्स 26,200 रुपये प्लस सेस होगा।
