Dear Sir my son scored 98.89 percentile in jee mains and he is getting CSE at IIIT Guwahati, COEP Pune and Mechanical at NIT Warangal and EEE at VNIT Nagpur sonwhat would be great choice for his career

Ans: Yogesh Sir, With a 98.89 percentile in JEE Mains, your son has secured offers from reputed institutes: CSE at IIIT Guwahati and COEP Pune, Mechanical Engineering at NIT Warangal, and EEE at VNIT Nagpur. CSE at IIIT Guwahati and COEP Pune provides strong career prospects in software, IT, and emerging technologies, backed by good placements and industry connections. NIT Warangal’s Mechanical branch is highly respected with diverse roles in manufacturing and core sectors, suitable if he prefers traditional engineering. VNIT Nagpur’s EEE branch offers versatility in electronics and power sectors but generally has fewer high-paying opportunities compared to CSE. Considering current industry trends and future growth, CSE at IIIT Guwahati or COEP Pune is recommended for better placement packages and evolving tech roles. However, if your son has a strong inclination towards mechanical engineering, NIT Warangal is an excellent choice. EEE at VNIT is a good alternative but ranks below the others in terms of demand and salary prospects. Ultimately, the decision should align with his interests and career goals. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!

Dear Sir, will it be possible to get your personal guidance in future as my son is preparing for BITSAT as well and in case he scores good then what options to be chosen and also in case if his jee advanced rank is between 13 to 15 k then what choice he have , also at VIT vellore he is getting CSE as his rank was 1230 so we are confused to make a right choice and seek proper guidance and great mentor
Ans: It is advisable to pursue NITs/IIITs/GFTIs if his JEE advanced expected score exceeds 13000, as he will not be able to secure an excellent IIT campus and/or branch. Please be advised that a minimum of 310 marks is required for the CSE Program at BITS. Even if he achieves a score above 280, he will be required to be flexible with the branches/campuses and/or prioritize BITS as his first choice. Have VIT as his final choice, as he has achieved an exceptional JEE score. In order to prevent substantial financial losses, it is crucial to be aware of the refund policy in the event that you must withdraw from VIT after blocking a seat.
