Both mechanical and civil have their advantages and disadvantages. Choosing the liking branch is more preferable than choosing an institute. Both the institutes are reputed. If I am not wrong, by your name, you are a female candidate. Working in the mechanical field for a female candidate is challenging. It would be better for you to go with Civil. Along with civil, you master the interior design and model creation. Even if you may get a government job, it is advisable to go for Civil.
