12वीं के बाद भारतीय सेना में कैसे शामिल हों? मेरा बेटा अभी 11वीं कक्षा में है।

Ans: नमस्ते
NDA परीक्षा 10+2 के बाद रक्षा सेवाओं में करियर के लिए स्पष्ट विकल्प है। NDA परीक्षा साल में दो बार UPSC द्वारा आयोजित की जाती है (जनवरी और जून में प्रमुख पत्रों में अधिसूचित)। आयु सीमा 16 से 19 वर्ष है। वायु सेना और नौसेना में आवेदन के लिए, 10+2 स्तर पर भौतिकी, रसायन विज्ञान, गणित की आवश्यकता होती है। NDA परीक्षा में लिखित परीक्षा के बाद SSB साक्षात्कार शामिल है।

नमस्ते सर, मेरा बेटा अभी पीसीएम के साथ 12वीं में पढ़ रहा है, वह भारतीय नौसेना में शामिल होना चाहता है, क्या आप उसकी मदद कर सकते हैं कि वह इसके लिए कैसे तैयारी करता है?

Ans: उसने एनडीए परीक्षा की तैयारी की होगी (संभवतः) जो कुछ दिन दूर है। इसके अलावा वह नौसेना में तकनीकी प्रवेश के लिए प्रयास कर सकता है जिसके लिए उसे अपना जेईई देना होगा। इस योजना के लिए आवेदन करने के लिए 12वीं के अंक और जेईई में रैंक मानदंड होंगे। यदि वह अभी तक एनडीए/एनएवीएसी परीक्षा में शामिल नहीं हुआ है, तो अधिक मौके उपलब्ध हैं। कृपया विवरण के लिए यूपीएससी साइट देखें। शुभकामनाएं!

Ans: आपने मुझे यह नहीं बताया कि आप अपनी शिक्षा के किस चरण में हैं। एनडीए/आईएमए/एएफसीएटी के अलावा कुछ प्रवेश योजनाओं के लिए MATH की आवश्यकता नहीं हो सकती है, लेकिन आपको इसे वेबसाइट पर ऑनलाइन जांचना होगा।

चूँकि आप पहले ही कॉलेज में शामिल हो चुके हैं, इसलिए मुझे लगता है कि आप सेना में करियर तलाशने से पहले अपनी कॉमर्स की डिग्री पूरी करना चाहेंगे। अपनी डिग्री के अंतिम वर्ष में आपके पास CDS (संयुक्त रक्षा सेवा परीक्षा) में आवेदन करने का विकल्प होगा जो आपके लिए सेना में शामिल होने का मार्ग प्रशस्त करेगा। CDS का आयोजन UPSC द्वारा वर्ष में दो बार किया जाता है (अधिसूचनाएँ जून/जुलाई और दिसंबर/जनवरी में प्रमुख समाचार पत्रों में प्रकाशित होती हैं। CDS में लिखित परीक्षा के बाद SSB साक्षात्कार होता है। आयु सीमा 20-27 वर्ष है। आपके पास अपनी पसंद के अनुसार स्थायी या शॉर्ट सर्विस कमीशन में सेना में शामिल होने का विकल्प होगा, उसके बाद परीक्षा में योग्यता प्राप्त करनी होगी। मुख्य तैयारी SSB साक्षात्कार के लिए है।

Ans: You have the Option to pay LTCG either 12.50% without Indexation OR 20% with Indexation. In your case, you may go for the option of 20% with Indexation, which may result in loss.
02. Your total tax liability shall depend upon some other factors also. However, we have suggested you to calculate LTCG only, which shall minimise your LTCG liability.

I am 36 years old and my current in hand salary is around 1.7 lacs per month alongwith some 10% variable pay, I have currently two ongoing home loans, one with SBI for some 24.5 lacs remaining with 25k per month EMI for 25 years, for the home I am currently residing, and another home loan is with HDFC for 14 lacs with 12.5k per month EMI for 20 years, for a 2 BHK flat in an under construction affordable housing project, which I will let out once completed by 2026. Besides this I have around 15 lacs in FD, 1.33 lacs invested in Gold ETF, 5.5 lacs in mutual funds (monthly SIP 23k), 1.5 lacs in PPF, monthly 12k invested in NPS, and every month I target to pay around 15k to pre pay my HDFC home loan, next I would target the SBI home loan similarly. Just wanted to know if my current approach seems ok or do I need to make some changes to my current portfolio like divert funds to close home loan and then target investments?

Property purchased in the year 1998 for rs.150000, Sale Agreement made in year 2005 for Rs. 440000, and paid in year 2005, but sale deed done in year 2024, what is the tax liability now?

Ans: Kindly clarify following points, so that I may be in a position to respond your correctly :
01. Payment of Rs.4.40 (L) received in 2004 was in cash or through banking channels ? Whether the same was declared in your ITR for the same period ?
02. What is the amount for which Sale Deed was registered in 2024 & its date ?
03. Whether any further payment was received in 2024 ?
04. Please note that officially you have sold the property in 2024 (the year in which sale deed was registered). LTCG shall be worked accordingly. Payment received in 2005, may be treated as advance payment against the sale of property. Your tax liability shall be for the F/Y 2024-25 (assuming that sale was registered after 01.04.2024).

I have 6 subjects in my class 12 and passed class 12 with physics as additional subjects as i got RT in it....i passed in year 2025...can i give improvement exam in year 2026 for maths and chemistry and also physics without clearing the RT(Retest) in the year 2025

Ans: Yes, you can appear for improvement in Maths and Chemistry in 2026, since you passed them in 2025.

For Physics, if you got RT in 2025 and did not clear it, then you are not considered to have passed Physics.

So you cannot appear for improvement in Physics in 2026 until you first pass the RT exam.

Once you clear the RT in Physics, it will be treated as passed and only then eligible for improvement next year.
