You did not mention other options. VIT Bhopal is a good option. If your son has taken the MHT-CET, then try to explore more options with state-level counseling. If you are a resident of Nagpur, then consider exploring the CSE along with either AI, ML, or DS specialization in reputed private colleges. If you do not find suitable options, then proceed with VIT Bhopal.

If you are interested in CSE and Manipal is offering it, then you can opt for it. There are slim chances of getting CSE in lower NITs or IIITs. With a score of 115 in MHT-CET, CSE seems difficult in government colleges, but in private colleges, there are chances via management quota. Be less dependent on BIT's second attempt. If CSE is your first choice, then why think about Aerospace and other options without any reason? Drop all the ideas from your mind and choose CSE @ Manipal MIT to end your dilemma.
