Ans: His background of academics is too poor, he shouldn't go for engineering. By spending money you can get seat, but can't improve merit. It's a bitter truth and if you accept it it will be better, otherwise after few years you will remember this counselling/ Though there is room for improvement. Let him take one year drop and work hard.

Ans: With a VITEEE rank of 55634, you are likely to be allocated to either VIT Bhopal or VIT Amaravati. You might also have a chance for CSE or ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) at these campuses. Vellore and Chennai are less likely at this rank.

Based on your rank (71K), it will be very difficult to gain admission in categories 1 or 2 at any of the locations. However, you can consider applying for less competitive courses in Bhopal with other categories. For more specific information, kindly contact the VIT.
