how to make a good relationship

Ans: Dear Sunder,

There are different variables to building a good relationship.

Here are a few:

• Having trust in your partner and being trustworthy is crucial in any healthy relationship.
• Communication, precisely open and productive, is mandatory to have a happy relationship.
• Take out individual time to get to know yourself and your needs. Once you know them, you can voice them to your partner allowing them to understand how to love you the right way.
• Do not seek to control your partner. Your relationship does not entitle you to tell your partner what to do and how to live their life.
• Fight fair; you can't avoid conflicts but you can avoid them from getting ugly. Even arguments can be productive.
• Say your sorrys and thank yous when due.

Falling in love is easy but staying in love takes effort.

Ans: Dear Anonymous,

If something went wrong in your relationship in the past, and you still want to make it work with your partner, you have to leave the mistakes in the past. If you carry it around with you, your relationship will never heal.

If you are at fault, make sure to apologize and try to convince your partner to forgive you; try, don't force. If your partner was at fault, make sure to have an open discussion about it before you give them a second chance. The moment to give it a second shot, leave the anger, blame, and accusations behind, and move ahead with only love and respect.

To err is human. Almost all mistakes can be forgiven, but not all. Before you try to make your relationship work, especially after something has gone wrong, please take a good look at it and make sure it is worth the added effort.

There are a few things that might work:
1. Start first by being friends rather than just spouses to one another
2. Learn about each other's likes and dislikes
3. Share about one another's happy and not-so-happy moments
4. Speak about what your goals are in life
5. Understand when your partner wants to start a family or not
6. Find out what he/she thinks about money management
7. Learn to understand each other's desires within and outside the bedroom
8. Travel a lot together
9. Take part in household activities

The above goes for love marriages as well but just that in an arranged marriage, you need to make an effort to welcome the other person into your life and learn all that you can about them.

as per last year's cutoff you are not eligible for JOSAA counselling. You can improve your score and get admissions in your dream college. Control negatives, don't give into the temptation of marking the option if you are not sure, options are designed that way, you commit a mistake and you will get a wrong answer there waiting to be marked.
30-35 questions correctly answered without any negative marking can get you your desired college.
