Namste. I am 52 years old and just list my job . In the recent budget it was announced that there won't be any tax until 12lakhs . I am doing intra trading . Would i hve to pay tax if my annual returns from stocks is less than 12lakhs Thanks in advance

Ans: Income tax and capital gains are totally different taxes. Capital gain does not depend on your income criteria, if you make short term profits ie buy and sell within 365 days the its 20% on your total profits and if you make long term gains that is buy and sell after 365 days then its 12.5% of the total profits, however you get a rebate of 1.25lakhs in long term.

I WILL BE GETTING SALARY 3.5 LAKHS YEAR 23 -24 AND I AM GETTING SHORT TERM PROFOT ON SHARE SELL RS. 1.5 LAKHS AND 2 LAKHS ON LONG TERM DO I HAVE TO PAY INCOME TAX ??

Ans: Assuming you will opt for new tax regime, income upto 3 lacs tax will be NIL. On balance salary income of Rs.50000 tax @5% will be Rs.2500. On short term gain covered u/s 111A of Rs.150000 tax will be Rs.22500 and On long term gain of Rs.200000 covered in 112A, tax will be Rs.10000. However, you will get tax rebate of 25000 and you have to pay 10000 plus Cess @4%

Ans: In case your income includes long term capital gains from the sale of listed equity shares or equity oriented mutual funds, then such tax on such capital gain is not eligible for section 87A rebate. Moreover, section 87A tax rebate is not available to non-residents

1. Switch off or put your phone on airplane mode & lock it in some place not close to you
2. Check phone only during your planned breaks
3. You can even look at doing something drastic, as blocking yourself from social media sites/deleting such apps till you clear exam milestones etc.
Above simple steps done religiously make a significant impact in getting concentration/focus.

Interview anxiety is not uncommon & most face that.
Do practice/mock interviews with professionals (there are lot of them nowadays).
The only way to gain confidence is to PRACTICE.
Also do bit of introspection in terms of what gets you anxiety - subject knowledge/communication skills/public speaking?
Once you identify, put focused effort to improve that particular area.

Ans: No Capital gain will be applicable if the plot is purchased with the view for construction of house for residential purposes on the same as per the time limits allowed Under section 54, else you have to pay Long term capital gain.

Ans: Yes you have to pay tax on Short term capital gain, being special tax rate income is not covered in rebate U/s 87A.

You have mentioned 'extremely toxic' hence it becomes imperative for you to move out at the earliest.
Ideally it is good to have something in hand but if it is taking longer than taking a break for focused effort towards alternative options is not a bad idea.
But do that with proper planning in terms of direction you wish to take, finances etc. & you will for sure find something meaningful.
Continue to deal with real bad work environment is certainly not advisable.

If you need computer & allied branches then you need 99%ile and above in NITS & IIITs. Same goes for other good branches at least 98 %ile and above. For this you will be needing 180+ marks in mains.
