My advice would be to exit sbi focused axis bluechip and to add uti nifty 50 index fund and ppfas flexi cap in current market scenario , rest schemes are good though canara robeco scheme name is not mentioned

Hi sir/madam, My son completed his b.tech in a national institute and directly placed a engineer job in public sector in one of navaratnas oil company.but he is not satisfied with the work.so he wants to jump to corporate job.he is applying too for job.but they are not calling. ..he has 2 moods.one is to do MBA.and the other one is to get in IT companies. What to do..iam really confused to advise him.is it worth to leave his current job? please let me know wt choise he should take? thank you so much in advance.

Ans: Let him do what he is interested in. If he is not interested in IT or any specific area then it makes sense to do an MBA. An MBA from top B school could open up a lot of opportunities.

My daughter is doing her BSc Honours in Physics from Delhi University. She is an ace student but due to sickness, she got backlogs in 3 subjects in 5th semester. Shes devastated and gone into depression as this is the first time ever she's has got F grade in her academic life. Will she get admission in Msc Physics? In India or abroad?? Recently DU has sent letters to her college stating that there could be 80% chance of 4th year added for BSc Honours. Will this help. Also, will her whole 1 year waste as if the 4th year extension is not added then she will hv to give exam on coming December to clear the backlogs wid juniors. Will all this affect her admission in pg? Will she get admission in abroad universities??

Ans: Failure is part of life and it is important to face failures else you cannot cope up with failures when it comes. Having backlogs is not a big thing. If she cannot give her backlog now but has to wait for next year then she can think of doing her 4th year in the college and simultaneously clear her backlog. But if she can clear her backlog and get admission to MSc then she can not do her 4th year and instead try get admission to post graduate course.

I am 23 years old and I completed my diploma in mechanical from csio-istc in 2023 and open ba also in 2023 and having experience as a technical executive 9 months currently i am on career break because i am confused Should I do a regular MBA or should I find a new job and do an online MBA so that my experience can continue? What should I do sir?

Ans: Try for both, getting a good job and simultaneously prepare for MBA entrance exams. If you get a good college then take it up, leaving your job. If you get a good job that you like then can think of the option of doing online MBA.

Hello sir. I m final year bcom student and my field is accounts and finance. After 3 to 4 month my bcom graduation will get over and i am planning to do MBA in finance. So i am planning to get admit in good mba college by writing pgcet exam. If i dint get good rank in pgcet then i wont join mba rather i will do job and gain experience of one year and then rewrite pgcet exam for good rank. So currently i am confused should i Focus on my pgcet prepration or should i focus on skills and courses like powerbi, advance excel, analysis etc.

Ans: If you are sure you want to get into a good MBA college, then focus on pgcet. Also can write other management entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, etc.

Sir i have done my engineering from tier 3 college and iam average in my academic also . But i have keen interest in management and want to dive into it . I am confused about appearing in Cat exam or not .

Ans: CAT is a good option as there are many colleges that accept CAT. It is definitely possible for a student from tier 3 institute to get into top Management college as long as you are able to crack the written test and are able to do well in the interview.

I have done my ug and pg in food technology. But after experiencing the food industry market I don't feel there is much scope for a girl that too with less experience to grow in this field. Should I go for an online MBA or should I go for some coding course to secure my career further. I'm confused.

Ans: Do something that you are interested in. So if you are interested in Coding then can take that up. But today coders also are facing problem with jobs due to AI. If you are interested in MBA then can go ahead and do an MBA. But try and do it from a good college else you will face problem in placements.

Ans: Regular MBA is always preferred over Online MBA unless you have a very good job at hand or due to some reasons you cannot leave your job. Distance / Online is similar in nature.

Ans: Yes. I have had doctors who have gone to do MBA from top institutes like IIM A, JBIMS, etc. They have got job in Healthcare consultancy in consultancy firm. One has gone to work as an Investment Banker in JP Morgan.
