I am holding following schemes. Shall I hold or change it for another 3 years.

DSP MID CAP FUND - REGULAR PLAN - GROWTH
ICICI PRUDENTIAL MNC FUND - REGULAR PLAN - GROWTH
Franklin India TAXSHIELD IDCW
HDFC TAXSAVER - REGULAR PLAN - IDCW
ICICI PRUDENTIAL LONG TERM EQUITY FUND - TAX SAVING - REGULAR PLAN - GROWTH
L and T TAX ADVANTAGE FUND GROWTH
SBI LONG TERM EQUITY FUND- REGULAR PLAN – GROWTH

Ans: 1 and 2 are good funds , rest are mostly in ELSS – ELSS can be consolidated in Axis Long Term Equity – Growth & Canara Rebaco Tax Saver - Growth

I am 30 year old and currently investing 17k sip monthly in following fund and apart from this I put lump sum in this fund 15k 25k total whenever market corrects. Investment horizon 20 - 25 years. Planning for retirement @55 age. 1) Parag Parikh Flexi cap Rs 3k sip 2) HDFC corporate bond fund Rs 2k sip 3) ICICI pru saving fund Rs 2k sip 4) Axis mid cap Rs 2k sip 5) Axis bluechip Rs 1k sip 6) Quant absolute fund Rs 2k sip 7) Mirae asset emerging bluechip Rs 1k sip 8) Sbi small cap Rs 1k sip 9) Nippon India gold saving Rs 1k sip 10) Nippon India tax saver Rs 1k sip 11) Parag Parikh tax saver 1k sip Please suggest if I should make any changes or continue with same strategy.

Ans: Continue but with lesser funds; four to six funds are adequate for diversification purpose, after that it drags down the returns of the portfolio.

Ans: Hello, the selection of funds should have a goal attached to it. This investment style seems to be cluttered and not very definitive in terms of the goals it has. Do speak to an advisor / distributor in person for the same.

Should I redeem from Deactive fund and purchase new scheme? I want to invest for long term period.

Ans: Redeem deactivate funds and invest in the schemes where you have already invested
