I have debt of 80k and i dont have any source of Income as because my just a student.Also my parents are not capable to pay that much amount.How can i fundraise?

Ans: Hello;

You may take-up part time job somewhere so as to atleast pay the loan EMIs.

You may let the loan company impound asset acquired under the loan(bike, cell phone) and close the loan sighting inability to repay. This will impact your cibil score but it can be improved later on.

Seek help from a friend or relative to close the loan. You may repay them later when you get employed.

Avoid credit cards, BNPL, MTF and other borrowings as much as possible.

I closed my EPFO account when I left my job in 2020 after which I rejoined the same school after 3 years, my contract stated that I would get the EPF but no money was deducted nor did i get the employers contribution. I rejoined when I was 64 and I am still working at the same school, Please advise as to what I should do?

Please discuss your revised terms of employment, after retirement, with the administration of your organization.

If there is any error then may be you both can find an amicable solution.

As of now I have opt for Old tax regime.. With my income of 11.89 LPA , can you please suggest which regime is good ,, Old or the new .. Also guide on tax saving components for the respective option

Ans: If you are going for Old Tax Regime then following options for reduction in Tax outgo
1. Standard Deduction on salary
2. HRA
3. NPS contribution from Salary
4. Investments under 80 C i.e. Life Insurance, Tax saving MF, 5 yr FD
5. Mediclaim 80D
6. Voluntary Payment of NPS upto Rs.50000
7. If you have home loan then Home loan Principal can be claimed under 80C and Interest under House Property
8. Interest on Savings Account upto Rs.10000
Based on these deduction, you need to calculate total deduction and tax liability. If the Income after deduction goes below Rs.5 Lakhs, No tax liability for you

Hello.sir, FM says no tax upto 12 laks but she has also said tax Slabs where there are slabs varying from 0 to 30percent , not clear what to infer. Is this for those whose income is overand above the 12laks per amnum

Ans: No tax upto 12 Lakhs is for those who opt New Regime. For Old regime and Income above 12 Lakhs, the tax slabs and rate are applicable

My mother in law sold her house property in Chennai to two parties for 49.5 lakhs each through registration of sale deed during may 2024 and the proceeds were equally transferred to four daughters who are the legal heirs. My wife received Rs 25.0 lakhs as her share. Is my wife need to pay capital gains tax for her share of receipt.

Ans: Capital Gain Liability needs to be calculated for your mother in law. The amount received to your wife is gift and a gift deed needs to be executed

Hello sir I am 35 years old working in SBI with annual salary of around 20 lacs.Husband is also Railway employee and cricket coach with Annual income of around 15-20 lacs.We are based in lko We own a house worth 1.00 cr and have recently purchased anotger villa for self occupancy for around 1.7 Cr with a staff HL of Rs 91.00 lacs.Another liability is a staff car loan of rs.10.00 lacs with EMI 8000/-.We have 2 kids studying in class 8th and nursery. Please provide guidance to start our investment freshly for long term as we have spent our savings on buying home.
