namaste i am 52 years old / weight 75kg/height 5.7 ft recently lab tested and founf HBA1C 8.5/ cholesterol level 262 /have consulted doctor and taking sitason m twice a day and rozavel f (10& 160) for last one week . is there relation between cholesterol and diabetes?. findings -chest clear, cvs nad.please suggest diet plan .have i to take sitason-m for long time?

Ans: high blood glucose level is associated with high triglyceride levels. Anti diabetic medications usually have to be taken indefinitely in most cases
