Since your son is in 12th grade with commerce subjects and applied mathematics, he can choose to pursue business admission or management, economics, accounting, finance, or economics in his bachelor’s. It would be good if you encouraged him to do some extracurricular activities in order to strengthen his university applications.

In terms of countries, the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Germany are some of the best countries to pursue an accounting program. Furthermore, the cost of studying in each country would vary. Ans: I dont think you need to do any course unless you are looking at shifting to a different domain. Directly apply to MNC banks. Contact placement agencies and take their advice. There are placement agencies that cater to Banks who could help you get the desired role. Can also directly apply to different banks.

Ans: Doing Executive MBA could definitely help you in your career. But considering that you are already earning 1 lakh per month, try doing MBA from only the top institutes. You would have to prepare for GMAT exam.

Ans: Its not late. you can look at either doing Executive MBA from some of the top colleges or doing some relevant course that would help your switch. Problem with switching to IT would be that you would have to start as a fresher.

Ans: Switching jobs to a completely different domain would be difficult and you would have to start from scratch. Instead look for something that is relevant to your field like Insurance and try to see if there are any openings at Managerial level where you can apply. Openings need not be in Sales but could be in other domains relevant to your field.

Ans: If your interest is to settle abroad then CAT or GMAT would be a better option. If you plan to go abroad, identify the country and college you want to pursue your future education. Look at what is required in the college - entrance exam, work experience, extra curricular activities, etc - and then accordingly prepare.

Ans: There are courses in Agriculture Management (IIM A, IIM L, etc.) or Rural Management (IRMA, etc.). Can look at these options to do an MBA for which you would have to write CAT. For PhD you have a separate exams that would give you admission for PhD.

Ans: Good time to start would be after your 1st year (if you are doing a 3 year Bachelors degree) or after your 2nd year (if you are doing 4 year Bachelors degree). You will have 1.5 years to prepare for the exam. There are students who also prepare for less than 6 months and crack the exam. In the meantime ensure you do well in your academics in your college, create a good habit of reading and take up internship post your 1st year of graduation.
