Hello maam. I am 20 F and i am just 38 kg underweight . I hv been underweight since childhood. No matter what i try i am still not able to increase my weight. I tried eating much i cut out maximum junk foods forever did exercise and yoga and even started eating egg being veg initally. Once i checked out for doctor in march (for fever issue ) he spotted my low weight and suggested me to do blood sugar(non fasting) and thyroid test. Surprisingly everything was normal. Checked out gyno for pcos and she again told me for blood test and sugar test everything was normal except my hemoglobin being slightly lower that normal value. I dont know how to gain weight. Plz guide me

Ans: Weight gain is gradual. Focus on muscle gain by engaging in resistance exercises (weight lifting, bodyweight exercises). Include lean protein sources like chicken, fish, eggs, and legumes. Consider protein shakes or smoothies as well. Instead of three large meals, try eating smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day. Include sources of healthy fats (like avocados, nuts, and olive oil) and complex carbohydrates (whole grains, legumes).
