Hello Doctor, am 53 year old men underweight since childhood. I need to know supplements or medicine for immunity, actually I get sneezing and running nose frequently these days. When I get cetrixine tablet I get relief. So I need to know about supplements for better immunity. Thanks.

Ans: Please share your weight, height and BMI.
Then, only I would be able to comment whether you are underweight or not.

Healthy and balanced diet and regular physical activity is the best immunity booster.

Hi. For the past 2 years, I have been having terrible allergies. They happen once or twice a month, and only a cetrizine can bring comfort. I have got blood tests done to confirm my allergy of dust mites. Is there anything I can do to get from some relief from allergies?

Ans: For respiratory allergies you should focus on breathing exercises to strengthen your lungs. Gradually start walking, then running to further strengthen your respiratory system.
Have maximum 2-3 litres of fluids including water and other liquid diet during the day.
You can also visit a Panchkarma centre and take therapies as prescribed.

Immunity can be improved in many ways. Listing a few-
1) Doing regular yoga and especially some form of breathwork for 15 minutes can help a lot.
2) Having some vitamin supplements like for Vit D3, B12 etc but this please take guidance of your Dr and then start
3) A healthy diet consisting of fruits, nuts, seeds, salads, soups, green leafy vegetables, fresh juices made of amla, ash gourd etc can help
4) Meditation plays a huge role in reducing stress and hence increasing immunity
5) Having a good deep sleep
6) Regular exercises like walks, cardio can help you stay fit.

as per last year's cutoff you are not eligible for JOSAA counselling. You can improve your score and get admissions in your dream college. Control negatives, don't give into the temptation of marking the option if you are not sure, options are designed that way, you commit a mistake and you will get a wrong answer there waiting to be marked.
30-35 questions correctly answered without any negative marking can get you your desired college.
