Hello Madam, I am 40 year old male working in the IT sector. I am 5’ 11” tall and weigh 110 kgs. Two years back, when my father passed away due to cancer, I got a whole body check up done. In the USG whole abdomen scan, my liver was found to be enlarged and was categorized as type 3 fatty liver. Also my spleen was enlarged. I took ayurvedic medicines for the same. Last week I retook the USG scan (whole abdomen). I still have type2/type3 fatty liver (as per the report) and an enlarged spleen. Pls tell me the following: Which type of allopathic doctor should I consult for both the problems pls? How much time do these abnormalities usually take to heal. Do let me know if you need any more inputs from my side. Thanks in advance.

Ans: Considering your height ,your ideal weight should be around 66 kg up to a max of 76 kg.So you are obese. This is where you need to address the issue. Please consult a functional nutritionist to lay out a Customised nutritional diet for you.
Tips from my side
1.Regular physical activity -30 M ts of moderate intensity 5 days a week
2.Early dinner by 6 pm
3.Light dinner with no fat and animal protein
