Ans: Every body has a different sleep pattern and as far as you are sleeping between 8-10 hrs at this age, its fine. If you want to wake up early you have to sleep early and more importantly have your dinner by 8pm, beyond this time it is unhealthy to eat. If you take an early dinner and go to bed by 10PM you will be able to wake up fresh and early in the morning!

Hi. After my Gym in morning, I take breakfast bse i need to go to office. And I take protein powder shake after my breakfast while going to office. Is that ok or Protein should be take first.

Ans: The International Society of Sports Nutrition recommends protein for muscle gain right after your workout. Fifteen to 60 minutes after a workout, the body has an anabolic window in which it can get the most out of taking protein. Try incorporating more natural protein in your diet for even better results. Soak 40 grams each of Chole Chana, Whole Green Moong and kidney beans or rajma overnight. Next morning, pressure cook them in the same soaked water for about 1 whistle! Add fresh curds, finely chopped onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, coriander and apples along with lime juice, salt and pepper. Consume this three days a week for vitality and strength that no protein powder can provide.

Need to know how to plan meal schedule in night shifts. My shifts start at 7.30pm and ends at 5.00am. Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday off. On Mondays I have my normal meals. Breakfast at 8.00am lunch at 1.00pm snacks at 5.00pm and dinner at 7.30pm. Need advice from Tuesday to Friday how should I start my meals. After my shifts I sleep at 5.00am and wake up at 12.30pm. Also I am currently under medication for bp. Diabetes and cholesterol. Please advise

Ans: It's crucial to prioritize meals that support alertness and provide prolonged energy when working night hours. Aim for meals that are well-balanced and contain a variety of complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and protein. For instance, quinoa, roasted vegetables, and any protein food may make up a dinner meal. This mixture can support energy maintenance during the shift and provide vital nutrients. Add foods rich in protein, like dairy, fish, lean meats, beans, lentils, nuts, and seeds. Have a small handful of unsalted mixed nuts, greek yogurt with mixed berries, or a piece of fruit with almond butter, etc. for a healthy snack throughout the shift. Have a sumptuous but balanced meal when you wake up in the day and have a light snack in the evening.

Dear Maam, My niece is 18 years old now, she urinates in bed till today. We realise that she is not being able to control the same as she always in deep sleep, however, it is always embarrassing for her. your son need to appear for MHTCET to get admission to engineering colleges in Maharashtra. The older & govt funded institutes only have core CS or IT as a branch. My daughter has presently finished her 10th standard and awaiting her results. She is a good student and is interested in Biology and Maths.
