Sir, I am a 83 year old male. At present am using the following medicines:- 1. INJ. LANTUS 20 Units (Morning) I am getting the medicines from C.G.H.S. (Central Govt. Health Scheme) They have given me Insulin detemir Levemir and now Insulin Glargine Injection I.P. 100 IU / ml (r-DNA Origin) 2. Glucoryl M (1g) OR Metformin hydrochloride Prolonged Release 500 mg and Glimepiride 1 mg. 1-0-0 3. SITADAY DM. 0-0-1 4. RASTEL CH 40 1-0-0 5.unistar (5/75) 0-0-1 LEVIPILL 500mg 0-0-1 Tab, ZOLFRESH 10 mg. 0-0-1 Even after using this zolfresh I do not get proper sound sleep. Kindly suggest if there is any modification / change in the above medication is required. My name is A, P, MATHEW. Residing at B/903, New Usha Nagar, Village Road, BHANDUP WEST, Mumbai - 400078.

Ans: Medicines to some extend help as an external support. But there is a need to do a lot from our individual end to address these lifestyle diseases. To sleep well at night, you need to engage yourself well fruitfully during the day. Considering your age and connect to the world being less, you need to focus on your Phtsical exercise like walking. Improve your quality in engagement during daytime whatever you do. And increase your physical engagement more than your mental engagement.
