Hi My son is writing his 10th CBSE board now and has enrolled for PCB with Physical Education in 11th Std, He wants to persue career in ESG, how can we go about it, is it a lucrative career option. We know very few collages offering masters in sustainability not many are there. Also any international destinations where he can persue masters.

Ans: Wish your son all the best for his Class X exams, Nice to see think that far ahead. Once he is done with his exams he needs to start preparing well for his Class XII. Score good marks so as to enrol for a good Sciences or an Engineering program. As he goes thru his Bachelor's program he may want to undertake internship to gain industry experience, get engaged in some sustainability projects. This will help him to determine if the area really interests him by studying big issues in sustainability, and causes. Then apply his mind to find a creative solutions to decide what he wants to do-- whether to work or to study.

I am engineer with 16 years of IT experience and now a break of 11 yrs. But in 11 yrs I had been taking Quantitative aptitude lectures as a visiting faculty in various engineering and MBA colleges and also done Mutual fund certification. I haven't been siting but doing many things professionally in last 11 yrs(In my subject of interest as Maths, Teaching, Finance, Accounting, Wealth Management). I was thinking of doing ESG certification. What kind of role I would get if i am CFA ESG certified.I am looking for Professionally and intellectually engaging role where I can contribute to Society. Not a very NGO type( I have tried working with few NGO's)
Ans: I won't recommend you to go for ESG certification unless you are having a background of Env. Engg and Environmental Impact Assessment. The certificate course of ESG is costly also. I would request you to open your own academy ( if off line not possible then online) and go for only one subject. Let me know your age.Focus only on one subject. You have explored many areas and now you are perplexed. Here the questions are assigned to me through rediffmail. So second time whether your question will come to me or not is not known to anyone of us. Due to the policy I can’t share my email ID and Phone Number. I have counselled and changed thousands of lives. As long as I am there I won’t allow you to be defeated. Mind that always I am there with you like an invisible shadow to show you the right career path. But I would request you to follow me in LINKEDIN and send request so that I can accept you, then through LINKEDIN I can counsel you in the future multiple times. Through LINKEDIN I will be readily and easily accessible.

Sir Namaste,I am a class 10 student and I am going to attend the board exam the next year. Actually, I am a very intelligent person and aiming for 500 marks but I have still not covered any chapter in an organised way but I have read most of them for my school unit tests e. t. c. Please give some advice on how to study? What to study? When to study? And some additional tips.
Ans: Hello dear.
On one hand, you say "I am a very intelligent person," and on the other hand, you ask, "How to study? What to study? When to study?" while also requesting some extra tips. If you are so intelligent, then why haven't you covered the syllabus in an organized manner? I believe you are a completely confused student who keeps saying, "I am very intelligent."

Here are some key points for you:
Start by creating a subject-wise timetable that covers all chapters for the next 2–3 months, dedicating more time to weaker areas. Study at least 6 hours daily, divided into 2-hour blocks with short breaks, and gradually increase your study time. In each session, revise a chapter using NCERT books first, then solve previous years' board questions and sample papers. Make short notes or flashcards while revising, especially for formulas, dates, and definitions. Use mornings for subjects requiring high focus, like Maths and Science, and evenings for theoretical subjects like SST and Hindi. On Sundays, revise everything you've studied during the week and take at least one full-length mock test every two weeks. Stay consistent, avoid distractions, and track your progress with a checklist. Lastly, don’t stress; confidence, consistency, and clarity will help you reach your 500-mark goal.

Good luck!
