Sir please let me know which is better wheather as to go by college or by branch in kcet counseling

Ans: If you are very sure about your interest in a specific branch (like CSE, ECE, etc.), then go by branch first. Because your career will depend more on what you study than where you study—especially if the college is decent.
But if you're not very fixed on the branch, and your main goal is good campus life, exposure, placements, and faculty, then go by college. A top college will open up more opportunities—even if the branch is slightly less popular.

Ideal case: Try to get a good branch in a good college (like RV, BMSCE, MSRIT, etc.)
But if you have to choose, go by branch if you’re clear about your interest. Otherwise, go by college for overall support and exposure.
Also, look at last year’s cut-offs before locking your choice.
