Sir,presently (2025-2026)my son studying in XI th class can he produce obc non creamy layer certificate to school for CBSE board Registration purpose, and it can be change in next year if my pay scale changed, because he intending to take NEET exam in 2027 year, now i'm class C group central government employee having basic salary Rs52000 pm,gross salary approxRs86000PM,i have not got any other income source to feed my family except this,Thanks

Ans: HI Sir,

Please submit any documents you currently have to the respective departments. Nowadays, it is easy to track information once you provide your PAN and Aadhaar cards, as these IDs are widely recognized and interconnected with government agencies.

When preparing for NEET, you need to submit a fresh community certificate, as its validity is only one year. So, don’t worry—just produce the necessary documents. Please avoid submitting any fake certificates, as this could lead to trouble for both you and your son’s future.

Dear sir, My name is Manjunath aged 50, we are basically from Karnataka but now working and settled in Gujarat last 20 years, I have 2 kids studying class 6 and class1, Our caste is OBC, I need to take an advantage of OBC caste for my son future studies, but the problem is in Karnataka taluk office they are not issuing caste certificate because they are saying we need to stay present then only certificate will issue, but in Gujarat we don't know we can get certificate or not because the perticular caste not exists in Gujarat state. Please help me how to get OBC certificate from which state and the process Regards Manjunath
Ans: Manjunath Sir, To obtain an OBC certificate for your children, it's essential to understand the state jurisdiction where your caste is recognized. In Karnataka, the Karnataka authorities are responsible for issuing the certificate, while Gujarat may not be feasible if your specific caste is not listed in the OBC list. To apply, you need to visit the native Taluk, gather necessary documents, and submit the application in person. If traveling isn't possible, consider using an authorized representative or an online application. Future considerations include considering residency implications, staying informed about changes in policies, seeking legal advice if uncertainties persist, and engaging with community groups from Karnataka residing in Gujarat. By following these steps, you can secure the OBC certificate for your children and ensure they have access to its benefits. All the Best for your Children's Prosperous Future.

I am a government primary school teacher in Odisha and belongs to group C employee. My annual income is 9 lakhs and it's from salary only. I have no any other income except salary. As for the norm in my state my daughter has an obc ncl certificate. Can she apply for neet 2025 with obc ncl ?
Ans: As a government primary school teacher in Odisha, determining your daughter's eligibility for the OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) status for NEET 2025 involves understanding specific criteria. The OBC-NCL category offers reservation benefits to candidates from Other Backward Classes who fall under the Non-Creamy Layer, primarily assessed based on the family's annual income.

Key Considerations: Income Threshold: The current income limit for OBC-NCL eligibility is a gross annual family income below ?8 lakh. Families exceeding this income are categorized under the Creamy Layer and are ineligible for OBC reservation benefits.

Exclusion of Salary Income: The Government of Odisha has clarified that, for determining OBC-NCL eligibility, the annual income from salaries of Class II and Class III government employees should not be included in the total family income calculation. This means your salary as a primary school teacher (typically classified under Class III) is excluded from the income assessment for OBC-NCL status.

Steps to Ensure Eligibility: Verification: Confirm your family's income details, excluding your salary, to ensure it falls below the ?8 lakh threshold.
Certification: Obtain the OBC-NCL certificate from the local issuing authority. Ensure that the certificate is issued after April 1, 2024, as it must be valid for the NEET 2025 application process.

Stay Informed: Regularly check for any updates regarding income thresholds or eligibility criteria, as policies may change.

By following these guidelines, you can accurately determine and secure your daughter's OBC-NCL status for NEET 2025. All the Best for your Prosperous Future.
