Dear Sir, Greetings, I am Neeraj Gupta. I am an engineering Graduate ( Mechanical) of 1990. I have been working with pvt. industries since 1990. Now I am 55 + and fed up of doing monotonous jobs. Hence, willing to take a fresh start. What will you suggest ? Regards.

Ans: Hello Mr.Neeraj

work related burnout is common...it can be emotionally taxing. Suggest you take 2-3 months break from your current job. Spek with your employer and tell them you will re-join and for this 2-3 months they need not pay you. Use these 2-3 months to recharge yourself...spend some time with family, go out to places of your choice, may be pick up some hobby that you have been wanting to.

After 2-3 months I am sure you will feel refreshed and recharged.

Hi Mayank , I am an industrial automation engineer aged 43 , I am earning a CTC of 26 LPA , I have changed my all previous jobs after every 5-6 years span , from last 12 years my profile has been a combination of team leader and engineering contribution, but in my current job I am on bench from 2 years now , good thing that getting the salary , but due to less salaries in my core area of industrial automation I am not finding any suitable job and even got rejected many times as all positions comparable to my salary are plant HODs for which I do not qualify , I have no option but to look for job outside india which is again not easy for my domain , kindly suggest what is the best possible solution for candidate like me ? Sir, I am Neeraj Gupta. I am an Engineering Graduate ( Production Engineering) of 1990. I am working in Pvt. Organization since 1990. Now I am working as Management Representative for ISO and other related standards in a chemical industry since 2008. Now I am 54+ yrs old and fed up doing these jobs. I want to rediscover myself. Is there any carrer opportunity to switch on ? what new course I shall takeup and start a fresh ? Pl. guide me.

Ans: All of us go through these phases around the time we are to retire! It would be a good idea to take up a course which helps you sharpen your core skills or take up something which will bring a smile on your face. Jobs are hard to come by, also at 54, it is more difficult. If you have enough money to see you through life, then take up something philanthropic work and give back to society. Lastly, be positive and look at the bright side of things!

Ans: You can put this formula in excel and get your answer. The answer may not be exact amount. But may be a close one. Also, the value will depend on market conditions as well. If the markets are doing well, you may accumulate more, and visa versa.

I've 10lakh health insurance and my parents have 10lakh health insurance. I also have a term insurance of 50lakh for me and 50lakh for my wife. I'm earning 1.8lakh in a month. Dear Sir, I am running my own recruitment firm where I am the only person working and sometimes my wife help me in the process. I earn monthly around 1 Lac. I want to expand my business I am planning to take personal loan of rupees 10 Lac and invest the same in business for future growth (where I can have aorund 3 member helping me in the process) but my concern is I do have some EMI to pay which comes around 45k per month. Also my business is bit voaltile sometime I get nothing in month and sometimes I earn around 2.5 Lac. So my question is can I take personal loan and pay off my other EMI aorund 4 lacs so that only 2 EMI's will be left one is Home Loan 19k and other of personal loan around 20k. Kindly advice please keep my name anynomous

My wife DOB Oct 58,has health insurance from a reputed Health Insurance provider with cover of 3 lakh ( NCB 78000) since 2009. In the last renewal premium paid was Rs. 38000 for covering 2022-24. Now the renewal premium demanded for 2024-26 for 3 lakh is raised to Rs.73000/. On checking with the Insurance provider the reason is--- change of tier 65-70 Yr. copay change and price escalation etc. . They are unable to give details of various heads on which this increase is attributed. It is difficult to digest the two fold increase of premium!

Ans: We can understand. You may check with other insurers if they have a better plan.

Ans: Saving is very simple. Create a budget. Based on the budget see how you can increase your income or decrease your expenses. Both will result in savings. It is suggested that you save atleast 10% of your income.
