Ans: Hello;

You may invest in equity savings type mutual fund with low to moderate risk rating.

It is a hybrid mutual fund with relatively lower allocation to direct equity.

I am planning to buy land loan for 10 lakhs. When approached ICICI, they informed minimum amount to be sanctioned is 20 lacs. Can I repay the surplus as part of EMI ? If yes , my monthly emi goes 1,75,000 My total income is 1.5 lacs per month and I can able to pay 1.75 emi by using the surplus and using the salary income Advise if it is wise decision? Interest rate at 8.75

Ans: Hello;

It's not fiscally prudent to borrow more then your requirement.

You may approach some other lender.
Even if rate of interest is slightly higher go for loan only for the required amount.

Also select a longer repayment period so the EMI burden will be lesser.

As and when you get surplus income like bonus do the loan principal repayment as early as possible.

You will also have to invest for retirement and other financial goals as well.

Ans: If you prefer a deeper focus on CS and AI/ML, go for IIIT Delhi (CSAM). If you like a balance of mathematics and computing with broader career options, choose DTU (Mathematics and Computing).

Ans: Congratulations. I think he will get NIT-T. You can see previous year cut off. I always refer NIT-T over BITS. He should prepare for JEE - Advance for IITs

My son is in 10th standard. He scores around 91-92 percent so far and likes to study. He wants to prepare for IIT however we are confused if he should try to top colleges in India or should we consider education abroad in a good college. We will only be able to go for abroad education of he gets scholarship.

Ans: Fix target and then prepare accordingly. For IITs he has to prepare for JEE. For admission in colleges of other countries you have to prepare according to their need.

Ans: Fix your target. It can be NEET for MBBS. She can take admission in any coaching institution to improve her physics and chemistry .

Do I have any scope in govt college or I should start preparing for 2nd attempt? Because it has already become quite overwhelming for me to manage it with boards.

Ans: You should see previous year cut off. Next year you can concentrate only on JEE. So chances of getting higher percentile will be very high.
