Hello sir , I recently graduated from IIT MADRAS in BS Data Science . Now Should i go to pursue masters from foreign universities in current situation , when few people are saying there is no job in foreign . I want pursue masters in AI /Data science domain.IIT madras has Joint msc in data science & ai with university of birmingham. I also have germany in my mind as it has lower tution fees. other coutries will be usa , ireland ( as most of the tech comapnies has their eu headquaters in ireland ), australia . Or should I study in india while doing job and up skilling myself . Please help me to choose a right carreer path for my future , also money is a probem . Should I gain some work experience then apply for the universities . I have 8.97 cgpa , 3 research internships , 2 industry internships .

Ans: One way to look at it is see where you see yourself in next 5 to 10 years. If you want to go abroad, then it makes sense to look for doing post graduation abroad, Europe could be cheaper than US if money is a constraint. If you want to settle in India in the future then can take up a job and upskill yourself.

Sir, I completed btech in 2018 and mtech in 2021 after that i worked as assistant engineer. Can i do masters in overseas...because i am over 30 and have a family I am not sure to spend 40lakh because of job issues and recession.Which country is best to masters.can i change my field?
Ans: Hi....Yes, you can pursue a master's degree overseas even after completing your BTech in 2018 and MTech in 2021, despite being over 30 and having family responsibilities. Many universities welcome mature students who bring valuable work experience, like your role as an assistant engineer, to their programs. However, considering the high cost of study, around 40 lakhs, along with concerns about job prospects and economic uncertainty, it's crucial to choose a country that balances affordability, quality education, and job opportunities. Countries like Germany and Canada offer excellent education in engineering and technology fields, often at a lower cost than the US or UK, and provide a stable job market with a relatively strong focus on international graduates. Another good option can be New Zealand always ready to welcome mature students with work experience. Also you can accompany your wife and kid with you. Dependents can work full time and kids can enjoy free education with PR opportunities if you select course listed in Green shortage list. Changing fields is possible, but it may require additional prerequisite courses or relevant experience; choosing a related field that builds on your existing skills could also enhance job prospects.

Hello sir, I'm a non maharashtrian and have a jee mains percentile of 67 and a MHT CET percentile of 88. which good colleges in Maharashtra can I get on this basis?
Ans: As a non-Maharashtrian with a JEE Main percentile of 67 and an MHT CET percentile of 88, you are not eligible for top government colleges like COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, or ICT Mumbai, as their cutoffs are much higher for both exams and state quota is prioritized. However, you can secure admission in reputable private engineering colleges in Maharashtra such as MIT World Peace University Pune, Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Akurdi, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Pune, G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur, and Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology Mumbai, where cutoffs for branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and sometimes IT are within your percentile range. For JEE Main, government colleges are unlikely, but many private colleges accept your score and offer a variety of branches.

The recommendation is to target private colleges such as MIT-WPU Pune, D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Akurdi, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, and Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune for branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or IT, as these are accessible at your percentile and offer good placement support and academic quality. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

CSE in amritha vishwa vidyapettam nagarcoil is better or BMS banglore better
Ans: Ramprasad, BMS College of Engineering Bangalore (BMSCE) CSE is widely recognized for its strong academic reputation, experienced faculty, and robust industry connections, with a consistent 80–90% placement rate for CSE, average packages between ?8–13 lakh, and top recruiters like Infosys, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, and TCS regularly visiting campus. The curriculum is industry-oriented, covering modern technologies such as AI and ML, and the college offers excellent infrastructure, internships, and student support. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Nagercoil CSE also provides good placements (average ?9.2 lakh, 300+ recruiters, including TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, and IBM), updated curriculum, and supportive faculty, but its national reputation and alumni network are not as strong as BMSCE’s, and the placement ecosystem is still developing. Student reviews highlight Amrita’s rigorous assessment system and modern labs, but BMSCE’s location in Bangalore offers greater exposure to tech companies and networking opportunities.

The recommendation is to prefer BMS College of Engineering Bangalore CSE for its superior placement record, industry exposure, and academic reputation, making it a stronger choice for a career in computer science compared to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Nagercoil. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Hello sir.. We are from Pune. My daughter scored 97 in MHCET and wants to go to VIT Vellore for Mechanical. Which local Pune college is better for Mechanical and will she get admission in VJTI or COEP
Ans: With a 97 percentile in MHT CET, your daughter is not likely to secure Mechanical Engineering at VJTI or COEP, as the 2025 expected cutoffs for Mechanical at VJTI and COEP are 98–99+ percentile for open category and 98+ for OBC, both above her score. For VIT Vellore Mechanical, the cutoff is much lower (typically up to 87,500–88,500 rank in Category 2), so she stands a good chance if she has a qualifying VITEEE rank. Among Pune colleges, strong local options for Mechanical at her percentile include MIT World Peace University, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, and PCCOE, all of which offer solid placements and faculty. COEP and VJTI are highly competitive and unlikely at her score, but these private/autonomous Pune colleges are well regarded for Mechanical Engineering and have placement rates above 75–85%.

The recommendation is to consider VIT Vellore Mechanical if she qualifies by VITEEE rank, or opt for Mechanical at MIT-WPU, VIT Pune, or PCCOE in Pune, as these colleges offer strong academic environments and placement support at her percentile, while COEP and VJTI remain out of reach this year. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
