Career

After graduating I have joined my fathers business.I have ideas but the problem is shortage of funds. Should I think about starting something new or concentrate on consoliadating my existing business?

Ans: Ashish - i suggest you consolidate first before starting something new. Generate some surplus from your own business, and then also look at outside funds like angel or venture capital, or bank loans for a new venture or expansion.

To do this, it would be sensible to cut your losses and find ways of getting a stable source of income. With your experience in running a pharmacy and your contacts in that industry, you could consider a job in Pharma sales for example. That would help you retain your network and familiarity with the pharma industry. Later on, once you are well-set, you could reconsider business.

Hello sir, I have tried 3 businesses of various fields but didn’t succeed in any of them either it was because of constraint finance, was not able to build good team, micro managing because of less capital always, or outside circumstances like covid and off season of that particular sector during the year. Now I have debt of banks because of which my livelihood is getting difficult. I have the vision and planned out a project for myself but don’t know how to fund project with these debt on my head and no capital initially. Should I stop thinking about doing business if yes, then what would be the recommended way of getting my life back on track. I am a graduate from science background.

With a score of 96.95 %tile and EWS category, it will be challenging to get CSE/AI/DS in NITs. But keep a close eye on the admission process and fill the options with utmost care. At this percentile, you may get sure admission in IIITs. Pl focus more on 2nd attempt of JEE so that you can improve your score and get admission to CSE @ NIT.

With a score of 97.148 %tile and OBC-NCL category, chances are there to get admission to one of the NITs but low chances to get into tier 1 NITs.
