I got total 19 yrs experience (13 yrs in SAP & 6 yrs domain). Age 44. Working as Principal Consultant in a MNC. What are the career opportunities for next 16 years. AVP or VP in IT kind of designation I am planning to pursue. What should be my action plan to achieve this milestone. What kind of skills i need to upgrade

Ans: Congrats.. Your doing well, now designations are a misnomer, it's the JD and the career path charted out to scale new .
levels of expertise and competence that's important .

Develop leadership and manpower management skills through proper Universities or Online programs.

Goal setting should be quarterly and annual that cater to you and your organisation too!

Internal or External growth then naturally happens when you have special skills, needed to make a project successful!

Hi, I am 47. I have worked in IT field for few years. Then had a career gap. Then again started with trainings in soft skills. I am not having any interest to do anything in soft skills. I am looking for job opportunities and upskill myself. I have done my PMP. Also learning AWS. I am actually confused as what should i do to get job. I am applying but not a single call for anything. Due to my career gaps, no one is keen to look at my resume. Kindly guide about my career path, opportunities amd upskill avenues. Thank you

Since you are already 47 and worked in the IT field, you should try to find a job in the same field. There is a good demand of AWS. If you seriously look for the job, you can easily get one.

Sir, My daughter is in 10th this year. She wants to go in research line like microbiology or similar kind. She prefers ICMR Delhi as of now. Please suggest what we should plan? She is not good in math's so already eliminated Carrers related to math's. She is good in Biology but doesn't want to prepare for NEET.

Microbiology is a common subject in most health sciences courses. Instead of pursuing a Bachelor's in Microbiology, it might be better for her to focus on other health-related courses that will be beneficial for her future. I am 66, worked in sales marketing and warehouse management for over 30 years in Southern African. Retired a year back and came to India. After sitting home for a year found it very difficult, boaring and health loosing, again felt a strong desire in me to do some work, will prefer work from home or out, for 5-6 hrs, again enabling me to spend a health enjoyable and active life. Really feeling very difficult to find a job of my caliber and liking at this age in India. Pls advice
