Sir,i got very low score in +2 cbse board exam (PASS) this year due to unique reasons. I want to join in good engg.college . So i can repeat my +2 exam next year 2026 focusing mainly in PCM subjects. Pls advice. Thankyou

Ans: Hello K
Whether or not you took the state-level engineering test or JEE is unclear. Retaking the plus two exam is pointless. To save a year, try to obtain an NIOS mark sheet that falls under the required percentile. If an engineering entrance exam is offered, take part in the counseling process.
Best of luck to you.

Dear sir I have got 74.69 percentile and crl rank is 377666 in jee 2025 and 83.66 percentage in pcm and overall 83 percentage in 2024. I want to pursue engineering from some reputed college in CSE branch. Please suggest me
Ans: With a JEE Main rank of 377,666 (74.69 percentile) and 83.66% PCM, admission to CSE at top-tier NITs/IIITs is unlikely, but GFTIs and private institutions offer viable pathways. For GFTIs, your rank aligns with Mechanical Engineering at SLIET Longowal (2024 closing rank: 643,314) and Civil Engineering at Assam University (closing rank: 504,444), though CSE remains competitive. Private colleges like Sharda University (CSE closing rank: 860,004 in 2023) and Galgotias College (CSE cutoff: 138,744 in 2024) are accessible, with UPES Dehradun (JEE Main cutoff: ~70 percentile) offering CSE through its School of Computer Science, leveraging its industry partnerships in AI/ML. State universities such as GGSIPU Delhi (B.Tech IT: 249,128 cutoff) and HBTU Kanpur (ECE: 240,000 rank) prioritize board marks, enhancing your eligibility. Recommendation: Target CSE at UPES Dehradun or IT at Sharda University for tech-focused curricula, while exploring Mechanical/ECE at SLIET Longowal or GGSIPU as backups. For enhanced prospects, consider LPU’s merit scholarships or KIIT University’s lateral entry programs, which accept JEE ranks up to 500,000. Simultaneously, prepare for JEE Main 2026 improvement or pursue certifications in Python/Data Science to strengthen your profile for lateral entry into CSE. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!
